I am in the process of building a setting, and I am wanting to have the world be "magipunk", similar to the Ebberon setting. Equivalent to a mid to late 1800's real world technology level, but using magic more than steam and such.

What I am wanting, are specific books that I can look into as source material, especially books that would have new items and creatures that I could include in my setting. I know that the Ebberon setting is magipunk, but I have no exposure to it, so I wouldn't even know where to start within their books, and I don't want to have to go buy all the books for a setting I'm not going to use. :p

As always, thanks much playgrounders!

There is a line of steampunk Pathfinder books that could help you. However, that's pretty much the same as buying Eberron books.
This could help. (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/DungeonPunk)

Castle Faulkenstein is really the way to go. It's a famous RPG that combines magic and steampunk. You can read the sourcebooks to get ideas.

I had some success with a GURPS steampunk campaign. Most of it i took right out of the original core book, but there is a steampunk source book as well.
