View Full Version : Setting Up Games for Large Groups

I'm a member of a gamer's guild at my university and it generally falls to me to run any RPG sessions we have. We're coming to the end of our current campaign soon and I'm contemplating what will happen next. We have a few people who haven't been playing who are interested, but I don't want to have more than 5 players. This is the plan I have:

1. First five people who sit down at the table with me get to play.
2. Players will get to choose from a selection of prebuilt characters made by me, one for each of the core classes in game (Pathfinder, but that's not really relevant).
3. The premise is the party are all members of the same mercenary group. This allows for switching out characters (they've been reassigned) and consequently players.

Whaddya think, Playground? Will it work?
