[3.5] Least Bad Full Mindbender Entry/Build

I get that Mindbender is a horribly and laughably bad PrC as a full 10 level class. However, if one was forced to take all 10 levels of it, what would be the best way to go about doing so? Is it by entering as a Warlock? Is it by entry via the psionic variant with an Ardent and Practiced Manifester? A Beguiler with Versatile Spellcasting?

Ardent probably, as you wouldn't lose access to higher level powers due to their peculiar way of selecting new ones.

The psionic version would probably be the way to go. Even then it's pretty bad though - the PrC gives you nothing you couldn't get just with spells/powers except for longer durations.

If I was doing a half-manifesting telepathy-based class I would go with Cognition Thief instead.
