I have a psionic race I am attempting to create.
I had an idea to give them Empathy at will (level 0 power).
(Psionics Unleashed, page 103)
or
+2 Diplomacy and Sense motive.
by the race creation rules in Advanced Races Guide, Empathy would run me 2RP. The same cost as Diplomacy and Sense Motive +2.
Would this be considered OP? By RAW, empathy has to be activated as a standard action and You gain a +2 insight bonus on any Bluff, Diplomacy, Intimidate, or Sense Motive checks that you make in the round when you cease concentrating on this power. You'd have to choose only one, and if you wanted to gain the benefits to a different skill you'd have to spend another standard action and concentrate again.
