Increasing range for manyshot?

I was building an archer in the 3.5 and really enjoy the benefits of the manyshot feat, but I would like it to possibly work a little farther away, giving my archer some cushion room. Is there any way that this could happen? (some 3.0 material is allowed as long as I run it by the DM first.) Thanks
