My Google-Fu is weak today (don't worry - I'm rapidly recaffeinating) and so I must appeal to your superior techniques and knowledge.

I'm pitting a Flying Polyp (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/aberrations/flying-polyp) (character sheet here (http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=641888)) against my players tonight, and it dawned on me that the polyp has several abilities that require a full round action to execute, or require the polyp to maintain concentration on, meaning it can't use multiple top-level abilities at once.

My players (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=299294) are a well-seasoned bunch and though not über-optimized, are likely to deliver a holy curb-stomping to this poor, unfortunate polyp if it can't bring some of its better abilities to bear. I feel like I need to give it a useful item to help even the odds.

In Pathfinder, are there any magic items that allow a caster to maintain concentration on one spell or effect, while casting another? Failing that, what's the most useful item you'd recommend for helping a caster maintain concentration?

Any other recommendations to help my polyp defend its turf against a magic-heavy, level 11 party? They've got a Ranger, Bard, Generalist Wizard, Archivist and Duskblade. (Archivist & Duskblade both converted from 3.5.)
