Given a 25 point buy, how would you improve the build below? I've only built it out to level 12. Feel free to suggest additions to it up to level 20.

Mostlymad's Mostly Broken Blaster Wilder
As far as stats go you really only need Cha and a 13 in Wis (for Psionic Meditation). Cha>Dex>Wis(13)>Con>Int>Str is how I would prioritize.

Race
Human

Stats
Str: 7
Dex: 16
Con: 12 [14 -2(Surge Crystal)]
Int: 8
Wis: 13
Cha: 22 [17 +2(Human Bonus) +3(all level advancement into Cha)]

Classes
Wilder (Student Surge)1
Sorcerer (Xblooded Draconic(White/Silver)/Orc)1
Wilder (Student Surge)2-19

Traits
Reactionary (+2 Initiative)
Psigifted (Energy Ray +1ML)

Feats
H: Improved Initiative, 1: Empower Power, W: Psicrystal Affinity (Nimble +2 Init)
S: Eschew Materials
3: Wildblood Mage
5: Favored Energy (Cold)
6: Psionic Meditation
Expanded Knowledge: Untouchable Aura
7: Quicken Power
9: Psicrystal Containment
Expanded Knowledge: Energy Missile
11: Weapon Focus: Ray?

Spells/Powers:
P1: Energy Ray
S1: Shield, S1: Vanish, S1: Reduce Person
P1: Inevitable Strike
HR1: Vigor, P2: Detect Hostile Intent
EK1: Untouchable Aura
P3: Energy Burst
HR3: Touchsight, P4: 3-Energy Wall
EK3: 2-Energy Missile
P5: Power Resistance

Equipment List
Psicrystal Staff, Greater (10000gp)
-Setting Stone of Invigoration (+1ML)(10080gp)
Headband: Surge Crystal (+1ML, 15k)(+2ML, 30k)(+3ML, 60k)

At level 12 the wilder using the above feats can pump out a generic Cold Energy Ray that does 85-170 (112-225 Empowered) damage without using equipment.

Using the above listed equipment the Wilder, in the first round, can put anywhere from 239-480 total damage on a single target. Damage drops to 142-285 per Energy Ray over the following rounds. Granted, this is only using Energy Ray at a single target. If you were to use Energy Missile, the numbers would be a slightly lower per missile but you could easily bomb up to five targets with numbers close to the above (you are only losing out on 1ML).

Powers chosen were based around giving as much defense to the Wilder to keep him alive once focused on. Really, it's more of a PVP build for an upcoming arena game I will be participating in. I really tried to maximize the damage in this build.

I've another build that is a little more well rounded that isn't a one trick pony for the Wilder. I'll post it once I've had my fun playing around with it.

Any suggestions to make this build better?

Wilder (Student Surge)1
Sorcerer (Xblooded Draconic(White/Silver)/Orc)1
Wilder (Student Surge)2-19

I see what you're trying to do, but I don't think that works that way.
The Bloodlines specify "spells", not "powers".
But if it's been OK'd by your DM, go nuts.
I cannot fault you for skipping an Wilder 20 though, as Perfect Surge is kind of a let down. Powerful, but costly.

Um, he's not doing anything funny.

The Wildblood Mage feat let's you apply bloodline arcanas to "applicable powers" and raises ML/CL by 2 each, up to your HD.

You can also apply your wild surge to spells, raising the CL by your surge value.

#EDIT:

Alright, so your wilder has ML 12 at level 12; +4 Wild Surge; and possibly a +7 surge if he has a very expensive surge crystal.

If he activates the setting stone(standard action), he gets +1 ML for 10 minutes: So with a 12 base ML; +1 ML from the stone, and +7 from surge, he'd manifest at ML 20.

At level 20, he'd have Wild surge +6(+9 with surge crystal)...

This looks pretty good to me. Psigifted as trait on a single power can improve ML by 1.

Alternative build:

Aasimar(Peri-Blooded) Sorcerer 1/Wilder 4/Cerebremancer10/Sorcerer+5

Traits: Magical Knack & Psionic Knack.

With Wildblooded Mage and the Knack traits, you get +4 ML / CL, up to HD.

So you cast as a 16th level sorcerer...and with Eclectic & Esoteric Training
(Faction benefits from Inner Sea Magic), you could cast as 19th level sorcerer.

You manifest as Wilder 14, with ML 18(and +2 surge, +5 with surge crystal; you can apply the surge value as bonus to CL)

As mentioned above it is the wildblood mage feat taken at level 3 that let's me get away with combining the two.

As for perfect surge, I felt like the +2 damage per dice that the xblooded sorcerer netted me (by level 5 it is +4 damage per dice once Favored Energy is taken) was more powerful and beneficial.

I'd heard Wild Surge was going to be progressed by +manifester level prestige classes in an update at some point - is that not yet a thing in the latest book?

Afaik, no. I don't have ultimate psionics, so I may be wrong.

Afaik, no. I don't have ultimate psionics, so I may be wrong.

This rule is indeed in Ultimate Psionics, pg.348:

Wilders and Prestige Classes

Many of the prestige classes presented in this chapter improve a character’s manifester level, but do not grant any benefit to a wilder’s wild surge, leaving the wilder with little incentive to take a prestige class. For wilders, when a prestige class level grants the character additional power points per day as if they had gained a level in their manifesting class, treat the wilder’s level as one higher when determining the effects of wild surge.

They included similar language for the Soulknife as well. DSP is a little more PrC-friendly than Paizo.

Even given that I don't really see a beneficial PrC.

Maybe cerebremancer?

For a blaster Wilder, there probably aren't any better ones out there than just staying in Wilder. For a different kind of build though e.g. a gish or skill-focused wilder, this option lets them select a PrC that can benefit that course without sacrificing wild surge. This is particularly helpful for wilders whose Surge Bond makes them better at melee.

So here is the build so far but I'm kinda at a loss as to where I should take it after level 12ish.

Schism is an option as is Temporal Acceleration.

Not sure what else would make the build more powerful? Are there any high level +ML equipment that I missed?

Any ideas from you optimizers would be great.
