My guess is Miko isnt really Miko, but Miko is THE LICH!

That's a very interesting theory. Thank you for sharing. But I think that the glow just flares up automagically now and then whether or not it hurts the target, and a +5 greatsword lays the smack down perfectly well with or without 'ol green kryptonite.

Yes, I think the green energy is harmful in general, but particularly so to undead.

I would guess that story like that would win Giant the much uncoveted "worst story turn" award (and produce much cheering at Blizzard offices)

I think Miko will become Wanda Firebaugh.

The "green glow" may appear from time to time. It says nothing about whether it is triggered by undead or evil outsiders, just that it hurts them extra.

If you recall, that green energy also flared while fighting Sabine. Sabine's not undead, so it'll pop up from time to time.

She's an evil outsider, so the bonus damage effect applies to her.

^ I thought the bonus damage to outsiders only came from the starmetal in the sword?

I thought the forger-guy said it only did extra damage to undead.

Never mind, I just reread #297, and there is no mention of a bonus against outsiders, just undead. However, it's described as "deadly green energy, which is particularly harmful to undead" - meaning in my opinion that it still inflicts damage even if you aren't undead.

The blacksmith? I doubt it. This sort of thing is his speciality, after all.

I bet it's some sort of "burst" thing--something that happens on a crit.

I also noticed that he hit her in the same place again without the glow and all it did was "thunk". :smallconfused:

But I don't think that that would be actually true. If you have a fluorescent light tube, and you crack it over someones head, it doesn't matter whether it's lit or not. Actually it may electrocute the person, doing more damage, but that doesn't mean they are undead haters of light. :smalltongue:

At a high secuirity airport:
Secuirity officer: "Hey, you! I think you're undead, so I'm going to 'test' a fluorescent light tube on you!" :smallcool:

Passenger: "Uhhhh... okay." :smallannoyed:

*Secuirity officer plugs light in.* "Okay, if this hurts tell me." *Whacks person.*

"OW!" :smallfurious:

"Aha! You must be an undead hater of light! Take him away officers!" :smallsigh:

I agree that, while the damage dealt by the green glow is particularly harmful to the undead it does quite a bit of damage to the still breating enemies it encounters. However, for the actual point of this post: the blacksmith was female, not male.
