Changing Zceryll from pseudonatural to shadow

So I'm building a tenebrous apostate NPC, and I like the idea of the Zceryll vestige, but I was thinking it would be more thematically appropriate to apply the shadow template instead of the pseudonatural template to the binder/summons. I figured, since by the time you get access to Zceryll the pseudonatural template gives +1 CR, then later becomes +2 CR, whether the shadow template, which gives a flat +1, is an acceptably balanced trade, or whether there are some issues with something like this that I might not have foreseen?

Shadow from LoM? Because that is a pretty strong template, I personally think Dark would be better since it isn't as strong and it still fits thematically.

Yeah, that's a good call, looking at dark and shadow vs pseudonatural, dark seems more in-line power wise.
