Would those people who make the build be better off if the Kurkri dealt more damage? so not a 1d4 but a 1d6 or 1d8 but kept the same critical threat range? What if they had access to the Cleric spell list?

What is a good build to use with the Kukri if you had 1d6 damage die and access to 1-6 the cleric spell list?

There are a variety of Kukris in real life, some quite large, it should be possible just by scaling up the weapon.

The default (well, only, really) kukri build is crit-fishing, so grab every spell that gives you bonus damage (not bonus DICE, since those aren't multiplied), grab a keen kukri (or take Improved Critical), and go to town. There's not much you can do with this, though, that wouldn't be better with a falchion (since it's two-handed, it gets more benefit from Power Attacking).

It might be worth dual-wielding for more crits, but only if you can keep your attack bonus high-enough to get said crits - if you go this way, see if you can get dex-to-damage instead of strength, so you can dump STR and use weapon finesse instead for a bit less MAD.

Well I ask because of the new Warpriest class that is coming out in the PF Advanced Classes guide at the end of the year. It takes a weapon you have put Weapon Focus on to treat its damage as the same as a monk's unarmed fist progression. So a dagger would be a 1d6 not a 1d4. Same with a Kukri

Lightning Aptitude Kukris is a great way to run a TWF kukri build if you get as much bonus to-hit as possible on each attack. That way, psht, who cares about the damage?
