So, I am making a character for a PF campaign. I've played 3.5 for the past 8 years, and I have heard some things are different. The Character Creation Outline on the PFSRD has been very helpful, but the group is starting at level 6.
I've heard that feats (and possibly ability points) are gained at a different rate from 3.5. Is this true and what is the rate in PF?
What else do I need to know to make a character past 1st level? I can handle equipment myself, unless that changed drastically.
In case it is relevant, I am making a Gnome Prankster Archetype Bard.
