Okay so I love the anime Trinity Blood and was wondering on how you would create and build Father Able Nightroad. Anyone have any ideas, thoughts?

One thing that comes to mind immediately, is none other than The Giant's own Champion Class (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=9623431&postcount=9). Complete with the ability to transform. Our otherwise humble priest can become a monster of nightmare.

For strict DnD materials... off the top of my head, nothing is immediately apparent, but for high level play, you can make use of the Vampire Savage Progression (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/sp/20030824a), then ask your DM politely how much it would cost you to get the Vampire Lord Template (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/mm/20021018a).

Is the goal to emulate his abilities or copy his biological / inner workings?

If its the 2nd of the two we'd have to use animated nanites on top of making him a "vampire who drinks of other vampires".

If its the first one, something like tensers transformation, or even righteous might will work. It's not hard to get wings, even wings which must be cast to be used, its also not hard to get super strong, or get an ultimate sphere of destruction.

Thematicly, combining the two into one is somewhat problematic, you'd have to have a type of vampire who has nanites in his blood, who is either a cleric or wizard (I don't take able to be a bookworm). All three combined into an NPC is probably doable, but all three into a PC might not be allowed by the DM.

But this isn't ask your DM, this is can we build it. Yes we can.

How close or far away do you wish it to be? Nanites in DND is a stretch and would take more work and give less of a payoff. The real question here is how do you want to emulate the crusniks? Outside of his powers, Abel seems to be a humble man of the cloth, even though he is as old as sin. Not only that, but trinity blood vampires deviate from the mean quite a bit, so using the vampire race may not be beneficial.

Do you ONLY want crusnik powers, or more. Abel's power's are strength, flight, electricity, and his scythe. Now, what you COULD do is use the Ardent class, and pick up the mantles from energy,destruction,physical power,consumption, and magic.
Pick up metamorphosis with extra power

Also, make him a half-celestial élan (buy off LA.)

For his scythe, Honestly, create a power to do it. Make it fairly low level (level 1), and simply have the power create any weapon you wish. For every 2 points you can increase the hit bonus and damage by one (max 5), or give it an enhancement bonus for every two points.
You may actually want to separate the two powers. Create ectoplasmic weapon and enhance weapon.

Alternatively play a psion, and for every power they don't have to replicate abel, make a new one. Thus is the power of high tier classes. You can research new spells/powers.
