My group is looking to begin going out into the wilderness but they dont have anyone who can track.
I looked in the DMG at hireling services, but nothing really seemed to fit with the type of person they're looking to hire. I'm thinking an Expert with ranks in Survival and the Track feat, but I'm not really sure what kind of price this person would charge.
Obviously I could make something up, but I like to try and base most fiat decisions on some sort of precedence. Are there tables in other books for hiring NPC's beyond what's in the DMG? Would this NPC be able to charge extra if he/she provided their own mount?
Thoughts?
