it makes sense that if a phaerimm (monsters of Faerun pg 70) chose supernatural transformation (savage species pg 39) for it's phaerimm magic, it's spells would then become supernatural, yes?

Right indeed. This is a fairly popular brand of cheese, or so I hear.

If I'm reading my lost empires right, Phaerimm's spellcasting is extraordinary (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=291625), and thus not a legal target for the feat.

I'm referring at the monsters of Faerun version, I've seen both though
