Its a PRC with some feat dependence. Thoughts? Thinking about making a character optimizing the scythe.

Weapon Master is basically a PrC you go into if you want to land critical hits against crit-vulnerable enemies and literally nothing else ever. It's not very good. It's also 3.0 content, so it interacts weird with some 3.5 rules about critical hit range increase stacking.

What is it about the scythe you want to optimize? Is it critical hits? Kaorti resin weapons have the same critical hit multiplier, and also a better crit range. Is it tripping? A reach weapon such as a spiked chain is much better at that. Is it the base damage? Greatswords have more of it.

Basically, all the Weapon Master adds to your character is "more damage" which generally isn't worth to spend a class on, because it's not that hard to do a lot of damage. What makes a class more effective (and more fun to play, since there are more situations in which you get to contribute) are options, and Weapon Master gives none.

For effect. I wanted to be an undead something wielding a scythe doing a lot of damage with said scyth. Was going to qualify with warblade or something similar.

For lots of damage you have Platinum/Gold weapons, Bracers of Strongarm, Power Attack, etc.

This may help. (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?p=7081777)

Well, it gives extra AoOs equal to Wisdom modifier (on top of Dex mod from Combat Reflexes) and lets you Whirlwind Attack as a standard action (at an absurdly high level, granted). It's not the greatest of classes for sure, but people denigrate it too much. I always sort of liked it as a "this is the stuff Fighter should have had as actual class features."
