How does the feather token anchor work? Can you use it for things other than boats? What would limitations be? How would it work on unattended objects?

RAW, the token can only be used on "craft" so anything that isn't some kind of ship is right out. As for limitations, "moor as to render it immobile" isn't terribly clear and could be read one of two ways:
1) The boat is immobile insofar as mooring can make a boat immobile. Things like a kraken apocalypse can and probably will move the boat.
2) The boat is held immobile unconditionally, because the mooring is just so damn good. Kraken apocalypses are no match for the fastness of this token, so long as the boat remains intact.

The source is the text for the Feather Token, which you presumably have access to if you are asking this question.
