About item creation

I ve read DMG & MiC..
i understand all the rules behind crafting magic items but i can't find the most crucial thing.

How i turn a MW longsword into +1 Longsword???

I mean, for every special property i wish to add it lists the spell, feat, Xp & price.
But which is the spell required to give a MW weapon it's 1st +1 ?

Since it doesn't list a spell requirement you only need the Craft Magic Arms and Armor feat and a sufficient caster level (enhancement bonus x3).
Turning a MW weapon into a +1 weapon has a base price of 2000gp so it costs 1000gp and 80xp if you craft it yourself.

Or just 1000gp if you're playing Pathfinder, incidentally, since it does away with the xp costs. It does also take a bit of time to craft it, though.
