Would an artificer, being rather skilled in the creation of magical items, be able to make a Persona mask? To make a Persona Mask you need the class feature; so I'm curious if a successful Use Magic Device check would allow the creation. Further, would a Use Magic Device check allow the use of it? This check would need to be used every time it was activated of course.

What if there was help provided by a Master of Masks, in the creation? May an Artificer help in the creation of a Persona Mask and enhance it in any way?

Is a Persona Mask considered a magical or wondrous item? (pretty sure it is) If so, may an Artificer add enchantments to it as if it is any other magical item; except it wouldn't have the default +1 or higher magical bonus?

During Iron Chef Master of Masks, there was an Artificer Master of Maks milking everything he could out of the synergy between the classes. Check it out.

Unfortunately, you don't need to imitate a class feature to use the mask, you need to imitate a specific person. There is no DC I can find to imitate a specific individual for UMD. You can imitate his race, class, ability scores, and alignment, but not specifically him.

Then the second hitch is that you cannot make the mask yourself. You don not need Craft wondrous item to make the mask. You specifically need a level of Master of Masks. Artificers still need to meet the prereqs to make a mask, and can only specifically counter caster level and spell prerequisites, not class and feat prereqs.

Now, a level dip in master of masks for a mask is perfectly legal, and posibly a good choice, but you can't cheese your way into this one.

Without a level in Master of Masks you cannot make or use a Persona Mask.

The caveat is that I see no reason why you can not add additional magical properties to a Persona Mask. Those added magical properties are most likely usable by anyone.
