Making a spell to preserve blood for a vampire...

There's always the old standby of gentle repose, but that has wider use and uses a spell slot that can have tons of better options, so I thought I'd make a zeroth level spell and post it here to see if it's broken.

Preserve Blood
Abjuration
Level: Sor/Wiz 0, Clr 0
Components: V, S, M
Casting Time: 1 minute
Duration: 1 day/level
Effect: Blood in container is preserved. It can be consumed without ill effect. Can only affect up to 1 gallon per casting.

I would just make it like preserve organ, and have it affect a quart or a pint instead of a gallon.
