Everyone
Last night had been a particularly strong aurora, the lights had played through the sky all night, creating unusual sounds, like metal ringing on metal all night long. For most, it meant a sleepless night, for some, it was a sign of things to come, and for others, it was a reminder of the past.

But now, it was over and late in the morning.

Noah
It had been a rough night for Noah, the effects of the Aurora had set his senses ablaze and left him with too much energy to actually sleep, and going outside wasn't really an option, it was worse outside than inside. The only thing that helped was to pace. It kept the energy from building up and let him take the focus off the dull, buzzing roar in the back of his head.

Now it was morning, and he was still brimming with energy, unable to sit still for long. Rose had gone to the Library with Elysia the night before, and neither had returned, but that wasn't unusual.

Elysia
Elysia, in contrast to Noah, slept the night away, too tired to even register the noise from the Aurora, even in the Library, she fell asleep. Rose and Elysia's pokemon kept her comfortable to the best of their ability, not that it would have mattered much, she was so out of it she didn't even notice when Rose draped a blanket over her or when they laid her head on Amp like a pillow.

Bandi
On the road for a few days, Bandi wasn't perturbed by the Aurora, it was loud and annoying, but no more so than the usual sounds of the night while camping. The only incidents were when she spotted a zubat near her camp that fled shortly after being noticed and a small larvle crawling into her camp at night to curl up by the fire, just big enough to catch, but she let it be for the time. It was gone by morning.

Cytep
With the Aurora active, Cytep was up on the rivers, tonight, the closest town would likely be Lebryl, the fishing village that supplied the monastery he'd stayed at the past few years. He'd heard good things from the monks. It wasn't a city, it was a rural town, where he could likely stay for a time before moving on. The only trouble he had was a stunfisk he had accidentally stepped on that shocked him before swimming away in the river. A ship passes by in the middle of the night and the captain asks if Cytep needs a ride, and insists on taking him at least to Loap.

Artemis
The ship, the Rum Runner, was a decent sized merchant ship, the captain, an elderly man by the name of Daniel Morgan and a friend of one of the servants that Artemis trusted, he had offered the favor no questions asked and was already well on his way to the next town, one Loap Town, a ghost town where he could get off without trouble, it even had supplies for when he left, prepared and ready to go. The closest town was Zapot, but as a major city, it would likely be searched by Artemis's father, so he was advised to head to Lebryl, a nearby fishing town many overlooked.

Cytep
Cytep had gratefully accepted the trip, and would like to be taken to Lebryl or at least as close as the captain would allow. He sat up through most of the night, watching the aurora with a small smile, resting from his small and surprising injury. Of course even he couldn't manage with no sleep at all, and so after some time he rested through the rest of the aurora. It didn't bother him too much, though he certainly could have had more sleep.

By the morning, he was up and well enough at least, stretching as he looked out over the river. He approached the captain again that morning to speak, "Hello again sir. Are we approaching Loap yet?" Cytep was in rather good spirits and it showed.

Bandi woke up with a loud yawn and tried to stretch as she blinked the sleepiness from her eyes "... whiski? I take it this is your handiwork?" She said looking around to try to locate the mischievous ponyta when she found that she had been relocated to the branches of a tree near her campsite, and that her bedding had been tied around her in a big knot to stop her from accidentally falling out. Whiski was already awake and was looking rather pleased with himself from his vantage point on the ground below.

Being a farm girl "morning" for Bandi is just before the crack of dawn, and with whiski's glow for light and sake's embrace for warmth she had freed herself, climbed down, delivered a noogie of vengeance on whiski, ate breakfast, broken camp, did her stretches and exercises(read: agility training) and was ready to go by the time normal city folks would consider it bright enough to see.

It had been a bad night. The aurora had been beautiful, an odd but welcome constant in his young life; but tonight it was different. This night tasted sweet beneath the prismatic veil while the air dance to an ectasy filled melody only he could hear; a song that played merry hell with his mind, body and soul. The desire to do almost overwhelming as his body seemed to thrum with unwanted vigor, it was a feeling that made one wish to revel beneath the night sky; yet his attempt to do so found him drowning by that sudden wave of life that threatened to do away with what little grasp over himself he still had.

His parents did what they could to stay up with him, as they too marveled at the auroras sight and struggled to adapt; yet to Noah it seemed as if what they witnessed was far duller than what he felt through his beating heart. Though they tried to keep one another company for a time, sleep soon claimed the loving pair living Noah to face the night alone. To the boy it proved to be a rather long night.

Too exuberant to watch a movie, and far too late to commune with his close friends or risk making much noise he struggled to fine what to do with himself; frustrated by both the constraints on his actions on his own inability to sleep, it was perhaps fortunate Elysia spent the night else where for he knew himself not to be right of mind. He felt as if his blood boiled and sparks flowed through his veins, like some endless sugar high mixed with great expectation, resulting in a nearly boundless energy he could barely contain with in himself. No amount of tossing and turning would remedy his plight, and excercise proved equally fruitless as his mind race and body urged him to greater action.

His salvation surprisingly came when it a fit of exasperated boredom he decided to take on a long over due chore and clean his room. The act proved oddly relaxing act in his current state in how repetitive and simple it was; letting his mind wander wherever the wind blew him while his body went through the motions with absentminded ease. The mixture resulting in a strange sort of zen like peace he'd learn to appreciate over the course of the night, serving as a shelter amid the storm his spirit was forced to weather without cause. Once his task had been done, Noah moved his efforts beyond his room and to the rest of the house.

On that night he worked his way down the list of household chores like a famished snorlax at a buffet bar; pausing only to make himself a small meal when he grew hungry before finding something else to do, something else to distract him from the myriad of urges and impulses which warred for his attention and a slice of his boundless energies. If nothing else he supposed it would earn him brownie points with his folks.

When dawn's light finally cracked through the night sky to herald the aurora's passing, it was greeted by an exalted cry from the boy who might have collapsed from relief had the night not left its touch on him; yet he knew in his bones whatever had happened had finally passed. Wasting little time, young Noah all but tossed off his nightware and slipped into a sleeveless shirt, swim trunks and sandals; his mind setting a clear course for the boy in the wake of torturous night, with a clarity that may have worried him any other time. Towel and small bag slung over his shoulder Noah strode forth in the fresh morning air after leaving a note for his folks; taking in the early morning scene, greeting his fellow early risers as he walked down the sleepy streets whistling a chipper tune on his way to the beach.

A good swim would do him good after the passing nights fiasco; easing the built up tension in his body as the waves cleansed his mind of the frustrations cultivated over the long night. If all went well he'd be able to pick up Rose and Elysia at the library and grabb some breakfast with them; perhaps putting that thrice awful night behind him. As far as he was concerned the promise of a pleasing morning was still within his grasp as he walked down the streets of the small town of Lebryll.

Artemis hardly got any sleep. Between his anxieties and the ringing presumably brought by the aurora, it wasn't really a surprise to him. He was more than grateful for both the captain and the servant who'd pointed Artemis to him. The lack of sleep didn't bother him as much as it might most people, he'd pulled all nighters before and this was nothing. But, he did skip his morning exercises when it came normal time for them. He'd need his energy... just in case.

On the deck, he kept the hood of his jacket pulled up around his head and face. Artemis might have gotten away, but there was no need to tempt fate. A hand dropped to feel the pokeballs on his belt, hidden by the long coat. Hopefully they wouldn't be needed, but there was no telling exactly what might happen in the days to come. He stood near the prow, watching the scenery drift by. And thinking of what omen the aurora did portent.

Noah
Much like any other day, fishermen were already at the water by the time Noah showed up, but the lake seemed oddly clear tonight, like the aurora had refreshed it as it had Noah, he could even see the barboach swimming at the bottom among the myriad tiny dwarfed shrimphan, and was that a clamperl? They were a rarity in the lake, though shellder grew aplenty, but, before Noah could think on that, a fisherman hooked it, and dragged it up to show it was just the empty shell left behind when it had evolved, not even a pearl left behind.

Bandi
It was always interesting to see what kinds of pokemon were in the area this early in the morning, the larvle and chrysoon were just starting to dim their lights, while spinarak went about building a web to rest for the day, and dujay dueled with pidgey and fletchling for a morning meal. The song of the morning was beginning, mixed with the nocturnal cries of hoothoot. Rattata scurried away while patrats and sentret watched from the distance. It would be a simple ride today, this stretch of road was as strait as could be, Bandi would make good time today.

Cytep
The captain was near a bespectacled man standing at the Prow of the ship, average looking on all accounts. But, the captain wasn't talking to the other man, simply looking forward with a spyglass, "We'll be on it in a few hours, kid," the captain replies, "sooner if the motor starts working again, mechanic's on that now, but it'll take time without someone helping him."

Artemis
Artemis overhears the captain talking to someone about when they'll arrive, and about the motor being shot. Artemis would soon make land fall in the Ghost Town of Loap, he'd heard stories of the place before, of ghosts that weren't pokemon haunting the place, but Daniel assured Artemis they were simply stories the previous night.

You may choose to make a wild roll at any time by making a d% roll. This will count as a random encounter only and will be used for getting experience and new pokemon.

NOTE: You will almost always have a River/Wetlands option and Grasslands are the default for the region you are in right now.

The eager boy nodded and smiled. "Very well sir, thank you." Cytep went to go find somewhere to sit down and wait. He would have offered to help but he had absolutely no experience with machinery, after those years with the monks.

Bandi was intent to make good time because she was going to need all the time she could get today. The first goal she had set for herself was a pretty tall order with it being to reach the town of Lebryl where she hoped to find a pokemon with the potential to be raised as a great sea mount. This was easier said than done considering her pokemon were fire types and a good sea mount would probably be a water type, but despite wanting to get to town that so she could have a healing place handy rather Bandi wasn't to worried about it. Afterall according to granny the family mostly used fire types during their pirating days and they made it work so bandi saw no reason she couldn't make it work now.

"Bad catch, better luck next line," Noah chirps in greeting to the fisherman, unable to resist the mirthful expression that blossoms on his face upon laying eyes on the vast crystalline pool before him. At least one good thing came out of this mess, he mused to himself excitedly as he greeted the familiar faces nearby.

Upon finding a safe and cozy spot the boy settled down his things; kicking off his sandals and putting away his shirt in the bag before pulling out a pokeball. A moment later the timid form of Lily manifested by the shoreline, soon accompanied by Noah himself whom she looked on at in pleasant surprise. "Hey girl," he chimed in good cheer, placing a hand to rub the limpale's shell affectionately, "Had a rough night, so how 'bout we go for a swim?"

The young limpale coos in agreement while the pair wade into the cool waters, sending slight goosebumps through the boy's form; though the flash of concern that goes through Lily's features does not go unnoticed. "Ah nuthin' ya need to worry 'bout, just a didn't sleep well," he explained reassuringly with a toothy smile, seemingly ameliorating his companion's worries for the moment. Clearing his lungs as the water reaches his waist, Noah takes in the sight of the lake for a moment before diving in to the clear waters; Lily soon following her trainer's example, looking forward to the pleasant morning the two would share.

Artemis sighed internally at the news, no wonder they were moving so slowly. He had to wonder when the engine started acting up, because it was working last night as far as he knew it. He murmured to himself as he looked over the water. "How am I going to get supplies in a ghost town?" But he trusted the captain so far.

Pushing himself off the railing, he walks over to the captain, keeping his hood up. "Where's the engine? I'll help your mechanic get it running again." Artemis keeps his voice quiet as he speaks.

Noah
While Noah was swimming, he encountered some friendly luvdisc that proceeded to swim with him and Lily for a time before going back to the school with the rest. To Noah's surprise, one comes back with a small scale, it wasn't the scales they were known for, though.

You can make another wild roll if you want or head back up to do something else, your choice

The scale is essentially a little cash. It's worth $100 on the market

Bandi
Bandi finds the road to be pretty smooth travels, she was making good time, though a small group of spearow tried to make trouble, Whiski easily outpaced them. She'd have to break to get Whiski some water and let him graze a bit. After that, it'd be a straight shot to Lebryl.

No random wild encounter on the roads for the first half.

After letting Whiski rest for a while, Bandi mounts up and the two take off once more. It's only an hour down the road that she sees a kid fighting a hematic with a kakuna, "Come on Bella! Poison Sting!" the kid says. He doesn't seem to even notice he's blocking the road, or that the hematic blocking the attack caused the needle to almost hit Whiski. Before Bandi gets any closer, the kid pulls a net ball and catches the hematic, and his kakuna starts evolving. By the time Bandi's close enough to him, the Kakuna is now a beedrill and he's pocketed the pokeball with the hematic.

Cytep
Cytep manages to keep an ekans from biting anyone on board, getting Keryss some experience. Before the fight's over, a man comes over with a pair of snake handling tongs to grab the ekans, letting Cytep relax while the ekans was taken care of. He heard that one of the men on board favored poison types, giving Cytep 200 for the trouble, and an equal amount to the deck hand that had delivered it to him.

Artemis
Going to the engine room had been an interesting experience, apparently some tynamo had taken to nesting in the engine, feeding on the electricity it generated. Artemis took some heavy hits from the battle, but won with the help of the mechanic once his augmentations stopped shorting out. Not only did he get to train Carbuncle, he managed to catch one of the little buggers. The mechanic, was then brought down to the medic while Artemis checked over the engine to ensure the tynamo did no damage. The mechanic gave Artemis an enriched water as payment for the help.

Jacior
2014-04-04, 08:25 PM
Artemis sighed. At least the Tynamo didn't seem to have caused anything more than superficial damage. After double-checking the engine again, he heads to find the mechanic. Supposed to be with the medic, right?

Noah waves off the little Luvdisc, between their merry company and Lily's more relaxed demeanor the boy could almost feel his burden lesson as he pocketed the scale. After a nice long swim, with periodic surfacing so not to panic anyone, starts towards shore with a lighter heart; hoping one of his fellow early risers might be willing to help him get some training for his youngest mon.

Whelp, hoping to find a trainer willing to do a 1v1 against Lily. Though if you prefer you can toss him a wild on his way to shore, while picking up his things, or while looking for someone to "play" with Lily.

Cytep was very happy to have been able to help, and the money was good too. He didn't have any consistent work after all. He went over to speak to the captain of the ship. "So sir, is there any way that I can help on the ship before we get to the next town? I'd be glad to offer my support." Cytep spoke with while taking a bold or prideful pose.

As the morning sun rose, Elysia mumbled under her breath and rolled over in her sleep. Unfortunatly, the half-asleep girl had not realized that it was not a bed she was in and a loud thump was heard as she hit the floor. Snapped awake suddenly and in confusion a blast of wind flew away from her and sent the books she'd been reading flying across the room. As her brain started piecing together what had happened, she cursed and quickly ran to grab the books that were now scattered all over and to put the table her wind had flipped over back in its rightful spot.

"Damn it Noah..." Elysia grumbled under her breath as she rubbed her eyes. Why hadn't he come and got her when she didn't come home? She picked up the books she'd been studying on various arcane elements and piled them under her arm. She'd read them at home and chew out Noah then rather than stay here and keep reading. The growl from Elysia's stomach solidified the decision and she headed to the entrance to find the person responsible and to check out the books.

Noah
Before long, Noah was redressed and ready to go, Lily following as quickly as she could. It's only a few minutes later and he's walking down the road before he spots something dart down an alleyway, then he hears a crash of something knocking over a metal trash can. It wasn't very big, but he easily recognized a rattata even at this length of distance. The things were labeled as pests in town, and sometimes carried tiny, poisonous flea pokemon that not only made them stronger, but also more aggressive.

A telltale hiss-like noise tells him the rattata probably has had one on it recently, and was still suffering the effects of the toxin.

Elysia
Before Elysia gets too far, Rose pops up and bops her on the head, the little medusa pokemon puffing out her cheeks like a certain jigglypuff. She then stands a chair back up and grabs a book she had apparently been reading before being so rudely knocked over be Elysia's reflexive gust of wind. Elysia knew it was just annoyance, she'd seen it on occasion with the tiny mon, but it only seem to came out when she was indulging in one of the fantasy novels she sometimes read.

Peaking at the cover, she saw the title Trickster's Choice on the front, along with a picture of a girl with strawberry blonde hair and green eyes. Surprisingly, she had a similar appearance to Elysia, except she was tanner and had a different color pallet.

Bandi
The kid looks over, only to panic and fall backwards just as Bandi jumps over him, "Oi, get back here!" he shouts, sending out the beedrill again which takes off after her, and was keeping up, next thing she knows is a thread's hit her back and she's pulled clear off of whiski, hanging from a silk thread fired from the beedrill's stinger.

Cytep
"No' fo' the moment, lad," the captain replies, "the cook might wan' some help though, he's makin' a bit o' stew for ya and another kid to take with ya once ya disembark. Make sure he doesn't put the ekans in i' last time he tried tha' stunt someon' bit the head an' wound up bedridden for a tenday."

Artemis
The mechanic wasn't in the med bay, apparently he'd recovered enough to start moving about again. Next time he saw him, the guy was up on top of the main cabin, his hand currently sporting a hammer head, and banging down something. He can hear him muttering about leaks in the roofing to his own room (the mechanic's that is, not Artemis's). He must have been the kind of guy that couldn't sit still with a job unfinished because he remembered he was supposed to rest for the next few hours to fully recover.

Noah frowned a bit as he witnessed the rattata's sorry state, it was endangering itself and others in its current state. He supposed it was probably best he handle the matter before things got too out of hand; reaching into his bag, Noah pulled out a fresh Pecha berry and lobbed it towards the hungry rattata; hoping the little beast might eat it without a second thought before paying him enough attention to consider him a threat.

"Easy there little fella, everything's gonna be just fine,"" Noah said in a soothing voice as he cautiously made his approach.

Lily has used Withdraw prior to Noah contacting the rattata.

Bandi lets out a "huh?" as she finds herself unexpectedly pulled backwards and-

We interrupt this post for an important PSA
After the initial shock and surprise one would expect bendi to be a bit pissed, and or worried about being humiliatingly brought to a halt and hauled back by her trousers by a total stranger, but those who would think that don't really know bandi. Due to her prank wars with whiski she has a history of pulling stunts and practical jokes and the only way she has lasted this long despite her mischievous habits is because her granny raised her to put an emphasis on the "practical" part of "practical jokes". To bandi's granny bandi is still young and is supposed to have fun, and crack jokes she just has to go about it the right way. The "right way" being...

1st: she should be confident that the joke shouldn't do too much damage beyond messing with the healthy victims nerves.
2nd: she should accept the consequences and do her best to patch things up when the joke does occasionally go wrong(within reason for example if they want something she would normally punch them in the balls for asking for then they forfeit all rights to compensation)
3rd: acknowledge when someone gets her back good.(assuming they are following these rules)

so to those who were expecting a midget throwing a tantrum the following may come as shock you have been warned

We'll now return you to the post already in progress...
"-weeeeeeee! hey Sake look at this we're flying!" says bandi making the most of her short airborne trip back as whiski trots behind her on the ground and occasionally gives her a push to make her spin like she was some sort of oversized dangling cat toy. When sake pokes her head out of bandi's collar bandi whispers "hey if you could be ready with one of your wardrobe malfunction incase this guys takes things in a grim direction that'd be great" the fire snake acknowledges with a smile and slips back in squirming and wiggling to get in position to save the day if called upon.

When bandi closes in on the kid she compliments him "niiiice comeback much props to your skilled beedrill and to the training you no doubt gave him"

Artemis clears his throat to try and get the attention of the mechanic on the roof. "Are your augmentations working properly?" He calls up to the roof. Artemis found the productivity rather refreshing from what he'd learned about the lower classes being lazy and entitled. He was worried about the man's augmentations though, the shock could be horrendous to the standard functions.

"That's all you can say after nearly running me over?" the kid asks, obviously not seeing the joke in the matter, "and Bella's a female," he looks up then slides his hand across his neck. Next thing Bandi knows she's face down in the dirt, not hurt, but dirty, "you running from something or just impatient?"

Artemis
"Hm? Yea, the're fine, I'm resistant to the shock, myself. Medics don't seem to think so, but they're not the best with tech stuff," he replies, "Had to make them using the scraps I got from my aron, but i's a good 'nuf mix, if it was anything bigger than the tynamo I'da had trouble, but, they's not strong 'nuf to do any lasting damage."

"And wouldn't say "nearly" I wouldn't have pulled that stunt if I didn't think I could make that jump safely or if you didn't look tough enough to have your nerves played with for not minding your surroundings and blocking the road like that. So don't look at it like a case of an impatient person almost running you over look at it as a case of a member of the morgan family recognizing you as a potential badass" She says with a wink and thumbs up

Noah
On his way about the town, Noah encounters a rattata that was suffering from the enraging toxin of a skuflea. Managing to not only calm it down, but get it to trust him, he took the little pokemon to the Temple for healing, Kaitlyn greeting him as she usually did, where he extracted the toxin that had been in it, putting it into a collection jar held by Sister Rena.

Noah did surprisingly well cleaning out the small pokemon's system, which had the side effect of improving its overall health, and Noah could tell it now had an affinity for poison.

With the jar of poison sealed, Rena leaves the room to see about making an antitoxin specifically for skuflea toxins.

Major knows these two as well as Noah

Kaitlyn is a pretty woman in her early fourties, she looks younger but has a mature air around her that speaks of her actual age. She's an amazing cook, but only a beginner in the field of medicine. She's best known for dealing with problem pokemon, such as her devimp Cree and her unhearty Sky. However, as she's not a trainer, her pokemon don't really grow much. A widow for the last decade so.

Rena is a petite woman with reddish brown hair and a scar across her nose. She's been exposed to so many diseases and poisons that she's essentially immune, but has no sense of smell or taste because of it. She's a specialist when it comes to poisoned pokemon. She's shy but passionate about her career as a medic. She's unmarried and uninterested in romance.

Elysia
Elysia hears something above her and looks up in time to see a slakoth falling from a beam between two shelves, allowing her to catch the tiny pokemon. It looked her in the eye for a second then yawns before wrapping around her arm and falling asleep like nothing was wrong or odd about doing so. Its markings weren't the traditional brown, but a dull reddish brown.

With that, he returns Bella once again and walks off, "Oh, and if you ever go by Zapot, be careful of the slowking and sigilyph, those two can wreck a team on their own. And don't let the old lady saying she's not taking challenges throw you off either."

Artemis
"And I'm glad for that, if you hadn't come down I'd have been in some trouble," the mechanic says, "with the engine running again, you'll be arriving in Loap soon, might wanna see if you can't get some stuff done before you leave. Do some fishing, eat, have a battle, what have you."

As his rattata is being tended tothe young man turns to Kaitlyn, with a slightly anxious frown on his face despite the miraculous success of the operation, "Hey Kaitlyn...did, ugh, did anything weird happen to anything or anyone during the aurora last night?" he asked in a slightly worried tone.

As she looked up, she tried to pry the creature off her arm and set it down on the table. "Rose, you recognize this guy?" She asks a bit annoyed at the weird inconvenience.

"Not really, some mages became rather tired last night, myself included, but it wasn't anything to worry over," she replies, "there were a few pokemon that acted up, saw a couple slakoths literally running, though I can't remember if that was before or after I went to sleep."

Elysia
Rose looks up and closes her book, heading over to look at the little sloth she'd pulled from her arm. It rolled over to look at her before scratching its head, then Rose's head. After that, Rose tilts her head then starts talking with the slakoth. A few minutes later and the slakoth is sitting up to look at the euridi when she turns back to nod at Elysia.

Bandi
Bandi made good time after departing from her apparent cousin, reaching only a few miles from Lebryl by nightfall. She could continue into the night with Whiski's glow, but the more dangerous pokemon came out at night. Given Bandi's need for speed and recklessness, though, she'd likely do that anyway. So, she heads further down the road.

If this is under a 50 you get a hostile pokemon to fight

[roll0]
Bandi reaches Lebryl without any pokemon coming after her, she ends up at the local temple for lodging where she meets a woman named Gale, a little wisp of a girl that's even smaller than Bandi's grandmother, but proportioned like a fully adult woman already. She was the only Sister visible that was up at this hour, the rest slept or worked out of sight.

Artemis
"Easier than you think if you're patient," a woman says from the railing, Artemis recognizes her as the Captain's Daughter Tracy, an avid angler and decent trainer, but had no focus whatsoever, except when fishing, "the cook's working on a stew at the moment, won't be ready for another hour. You can probably get something simpler though," she always seemed to have a dreamy look in her eyes and tone to her voice, like she wasn't really completely aware of everything around her, yet she never missed a thing.

"Hm, that is odd, though it may have to do with how you became an elementalist, you did say you weren't born one," Kaitlyn says in reply, "I can get one of the better medics look you over if you'd like though," she continues simply.

Elysia
Rose points, but that direction didn't lead anywhere in town. A moment later, Elysia feels something on her leg and looks down to see the slakoth actually climbing her leg, he was more active than any slakoth she'd seen before. And they were relatively common in the area. Rose wraps her snake around it and pulls it off, sliding it onto her back so that it wouldn't get electrocuted.

Bandi
Bandi soon finds herself at an odd mix of tavern, fancy restaurant, and bar. But, once there, it's easy to spot the fishermen, all over at the bar except one whose talking to someone Bandi would guess is the head chef about something. At least three of the five fishermen look absolutely sloshed, she wouldn't be able to get anything out of them until she got used to what they were like drunk, and that could take a while, with two relatively sober, she could spare herself the trouble.

Artemis
"Two doors down, extra rod and a couple lures, might do better with some real bait though," she says as she gets a bite, and livens up, before long, she drags up an absolutely ugly fish, which she quickly catches without even battling, "another feebas," she sighs out.

Noah is promptly taken to another room himself and left to wait for the doctor. It's not long before the doctor arrives, a short man with grey-brown hair and teal blue eyes, Noah didn't know him beyond the fact he was a relatively new doctor, "Good afternoon, Noah, is it? I'm Eric Strad. I'm not exactly sure why I was put as your doctor, I specialize in poison pokemon, not humans."

"You were the one that got that poison from earlier right? Rena brought it to me for examination later," he comments offhandedly as he reads something on a clipboard, "oh that's why I was brought here. A poison wild mage, well, that certainly makes things interesting."

Elysia
Rose thinks for a moment than goes over to her book, flips through the pages than points to "Myles", which is part of a name but being used to signify Miles, then flips back and points to the 1 on the first page. Next she makes the 'so-so' hand sign, so it was about a mile out, give or take.

Bandi
The fisherman she goes up to is a rotund man that wore a snorlax patterned hat, looking at him closely, it actually makes him look like a snorlax, "you wan' the one at the other end, when he's sober ag'in," he replies with a heavy accent Bandi couldn't place, "Som'in' about a big gruber," he uses the slang term for magikarp, "ge'in' off 'is hook fast."

Artemis
"Just watch," she says as she reels her rod back in, then gets ready to cast again. She undoes a little lever on the real, pulls back with a finger on the line, then releases as she flicks the rod at an angle to get it behind the ship, "when you feel a tug on the line, don't immediately start pulling, that'll just be something nibbling, when you feel a solid pull, yank back to set the hook then reel in, if it's a fighter, let it pull out, then reel and pull back, tire it out. You probably won't get much of a fighter, but you'll need to put your arms into pulling it up," she says, "oh, there's a bite I can use to show ya," she says as she yanks her line, then reels in, actually putting her rod closer to the railing as she reels, then pulls back on the rod, doing the same again until she pulls up a red basculin, "Hm, not much of a fight for a basculin... probably an escaped farm breed. Good for eating, not for battling," she grabs it by the tail and pulls the hook from its mouth with a simple flick of the wrist, "Give it a shot while I bring this to the cook."

"Alright then, just take a seat," he replies simply before doing a thorough examination, it takes about an hour for him to say anything beyond asking Noah to do something like cough, breathe deeply, or the like, "I can tell you confidently that there are no major side effects. If what you say about being energetic is true, you may find it difficult to sleep for a few days, but it shouldn't be a problem as that extra energy dissipates."

Elysia
Rose shakes her head, then simply makes a noise that she's come to recognize as how she says Noah. It was one of the few key words that she'd been able to get across to her humans. It had a sort of questioning tone to it, combined with the tilted head, she was asking if she should take it to Noah.

Artemis
Only a minute later, just as Tracy was coming back around, Artemis gets a bite, and a heavy one. It takes him a while, but he manages to reel in what looks like a clamperl that's snapped shut around the line.

"I would say good," the chef was likely the most fluent and sophisticated person on board, a bit of a stickler though, "the captain's Daughter Tracy just brought down a nice farm basculin, it will be a fine meal for the evening. I'm thinking a salt pack for it, season it well and cook low and slow to get a perfect fish, the potatoes from last shore stop and some greens from the garden will make a great side for it," he doesn't even seem to realize he's talking to someone as he preps the fish with an expert hand, "would you mind cleaning out the stove, there's ash from the last time it was lit in there, and I don't want it getting on such a beautiful fish."

Artemis
"You'll likely have to fight or befriend it, I'm a specialist when it comes to water pokemon, so catching them comes easy. Noah snickers at Rose's comments before his expression relaxes into a thin smile,"Oh, so you did sleep last night, huh," he says slowly in sober tone that didn't quite fit with the boy speaking it, "I, ugh, I actually couldn't leave the house last night" he admits abashedly, averting his gaze as if it suddenly found something rather interesting off to the side.

"The lights made me a bit nutty, couldn't stand being under'em; Ma' and Pa' had their hands full with me 'till they tuckered out, and couldn't head out to get'cha. Haven't slept a wink myself really, 'cided it best to get myself checked out after a swim to clear my head. "I met Thistle here, on my way to get'cha; little fella was a bit out of it 'cause of some nasty venom got into'em, and left'em half crazed. Got'em to settle down, and then met up with Kaitlyn to clean'em up and get'em checked out. Now the little guy's A-Ohkay! "Any case, pretty good he ain't an assassin then; otherwise I woulda had to teach'em a good lesson for trying to hurt ya. One of the folks by the shore told me they saw a Slakoth runnin' round like it had too much sugar last night, so I'm guessin' this little guy's probably him," he commented upbeatly as he studied the oddly colored Slakoth, seemingly eager to bury his admittance of the aurora's unsettling effect on him under more recent events.

Cytep
"Use the scraper, looks like a squeegee, to pull out the ash into the bucket then set it aside, the doc will pick it up later, says it's good for calming the stomach when it's roiling," the chef says, not looking up from his work, mixing some egg into a LOT of salt, which is already being placed down onto a stone slab with the fish resting on it.

The scraper is just to the side of the stove, and it's actually a little harder to get out the ash pile than Cytep originally thought, but he manages, by the time he's finished, all of the fish except its fin is encased in a thick layer of the salt and egg mixture. He's washing his hands at this point, "there's wood next to where the scraper was, two logs should be enough, tinder should be in a metal pale hanging just over the logs."

Artemis
After a quick progression of knocks from both within and outside of the shell before the pokemon inside comes out, rendering Tracy speechless and surprising Artemis as the mermaid mon jumps onto Artemis's shirt. Possessed of pearl colored skin, pale blue eyes, and green hair with a heart shaped tail fin and a tiny shell over its chest, it was the typical image of a mermaid, only a little over a foot long, head to fin.

Tracy was clueless as to what the little pokemon was, knowing of every water pokemon in Ogrun. The mechanic, on the other hand, knew that it was likely a hybrid. After that, Artemis asked the little mermaid if it would come with him and it accepted. The pokeball automatically registered the pokemon as a new species, getting the mechanic to raise an eyebrow and Tracy to have her jaw drop. A new species was a big deal, it meant that, not only was the pokemon a successful hybrid, it was also fertile, which was rare even for the most experienced of breeders.

When Noah pats its head, the slakoth grabs his arm and swings around like a mankey to latch on and climb up to his forearm, resting its head on his shoulder and puffing out a yawn of contentment. Seemed to think Noah was comfortable. But that display a moment ago showed more energy than a slakoth should have had.

It first one doesn't have a rod on him, and seems to still be sober enough to want collateral of some kind, the second though, just hands the rod over saying he was gonna quit fishing and start dancing in the worst dialect of sloshed Bandi had ever been taught, it meant he probably wouldn't even remember lending Bandi the rod come morning, or even five minutes from now, possibly even just five seconds, given what he's mumbling.

Cytep
A loud hissing sound comes from nearby (the kind from when a TV has a snow image) before a tiny, itty bitty cat pokemon runs in and circles up Cytep's clothes to land on his head where it hisses down at something following it, a grey, black, and red creature that looked to be made of burning charcoal and ash in a roughly humanoid shape. The chef doesn't even turn, he simply picks up a hose with a nozel, presses something, and douses the pokemon in water, "that'll keep it from causing any real damage, just get it out of here before it gets ash in all the food," what the hell kind of chef was this guy? "Loki, get over here," the colorful cat pokemon darts off of Cytep, into a bowl, and flies out of it onto the chef's shoulder. It was official, the chef was a certified badass.

"Well of course I'm going to breed it. I have possibly the first of an entire new species!" Artemis fingering the pokeball of his fourth pokemon. If he could get them all trained up and work on his own skills, he might stand a chance by the time whoever his father sent after him found him. "Of course, I know nothing about breeding, so it might be some time."

"That's just his way of sayin' he likes me; you're just jealous that I'm comfier," Noah counters in good mirth, seemingly quite proud of obtaining the Slakoth's seal of approval in terms of comfort.

THe pair make their way home in short order; having a light breakfast together before picking up their things and letting their folks know where they were headed for the morning. After grabbing a few supplies to help them through the trek, and changing into more appropriate clothing the pair head out to take the little slakoth back home.

Noah & Elysia
About halfway out of the town, thunder cracks overhead on a cloudless day, followed by an ominous roar. Looking up, all Noah or Elysia can see is what looks like a distortion in space before four shadows come out.

Bandi
Before Bandi can get a good look, a pair of eyes opens from the shadow of the willow tree, one a light pink, almost white in color, and the other a clear blue, next thing she knows is the creature roars and the world around her warps. She's pulled off of Whiski and Sake unwraps from under her clothes, and a fish hits her in the face. Then she gets a feeling of falling.

Artemis
"We 'ave a breeder on board, bu' he's taken ill recen'ly, it'd be a bad idea to le' him handle the breeding," the Mechanic comments, "I know tha' Tracy 'ere knows how to breed pokemon, even if she's not a specialist in the field. Considering the noise from her room I think she's a lil too into it sometimes though," he says with a grin while Tracy blushes and averts her eyes, embarrassed.

"It's not what you think..." she mutters.

"I know, I'm just messin wit' ya, e'eryone on board knows ya been looking for a man though."

Noah, Elysia, & Bandi
Bandi and the fish that had hit her face end up on top of Noah, Sake ends up sliding in between Elysia's chest, and Whiski lands perfectly safe and sound on his feet next to Rose.

Sake slithers straight down Elysia's shirt then jumps away, ending up back in Bandi's clothing, the fish flops twice on Bandi's face before it gets off of her, and Whiski and Rose turn to look at each other, then back at the mayhem before Whiski starts laughing his flaming tail off.

Through the ordeal Bandi's thoughts go something like this. Uh-Oh... Huh!?... No! Sake hold on! *riiiip* great thats another shirt and sports bra claimed by sake... Gak! something feels fishy... Am I falling?... OOF! Bandi is dazed for a moment by her landing, but when the fish gets off her and she hears Whiski's laughter she mind suddenly springs to clarity "Gasp! SAKE! oh there you are girl." she says to the fire snake coiled around her now otherwise bare chest with a shred of sports bra hanging from its fangs "whew that was a close one I thought I had lost you" she says leaning her head back in relief and wondering why the ground here feels so soft, and otherwise oblivious to the other travelers around her.

When the portal opens, Elysia tenses up. When the four figures drop down, she starts to wonder if this was some form of attack. Oddly enough it was with a portal and seemed to not be psychic based. However, when the figures tackled Noah and landed on top of him a glare crossed her face and she started to prepare a shock wave. However, when the weird snake thing slide down her shirt, she was suddenly quickly distracted. She tried to blast it with a static charge along her skin, but it was gone before she could paralyze the beast. With herself no longer having anyone on her or near her, Elysia turned back to the people that were attacking Noah.

When she looked back, the girl was still sitting on Noah despite having clearly had enough time to speak and realize where she was. Elysia paused for a moment, but seeing the figure still pinning Noah down annoyance filled her. It didn't help that the woman was in such a limited state of dress and on Noah. Who was this bimbo and what was she trying to pull.

"What I seek is thunder, shock wave!" Elysia called out quickly making the incantation for her spell and firing a blast of electric energy at the woman to knock her away from Noah.

Bandi was just beginning to catch her breath enjoying little Sake's adorable smile when suddenly her whole body erupted in electrified pain. Burning her exposed flesh where it struck, and making even her cry out in agony, and all sake could do was look on in terror as her "mommy" convulsed.

Bandi tried to roll away and spring up on all fours like a wild child, but one arm gave way as she was compelled to clutch her electrocution burn as the lingering energy threw her nerves out of whack making her look like she was in more of a kneeling than a pounce ready position "Whoa!*pant* *gasp**pant* we land near a Moldniya patch or something?*heavy breathing**twitch*" its at this point Bandi notices well endowed electro psycho "Huh?*shiver* a mage?*heavy breathing* Hey what gives!? *inhale* Don't you know a person who just lived through a terrifying life threatening ordeal when you see one!?*flinch**collapse in pain*" Shouts Bandi believing the mages actions are completely unreasonable until she just then notices Noah "*piratey sailor swears*... I landed on him didn't I?...*pants* Um.. sorry about that. *cring*You alright?" she says to the pair seriously hoping they didn't hold grudges she couldn't take another hit like that.

A small wave of excitement went through Elysia's body as the small wave of electricity went through Bandi's body.. The reaction to a body as it was hit by a shock wave never got old. She licked her lips in pleasure as she saw the convulsions and heavy breathing. That's what the poochyena deserved for dropping half-naked on her friend. "You better hope he isn't hurt. For your sake at least. If he is, I'm going to have a really good time." Elysia said with a glare that seemed to clash with the heavy excited breathing that was escaping her lips.

"Noah, did the poochyena hurt you? Do I need to fry her again?" She asked her hands sparking with electricity as she looked at the snake pokemon, debating if she should fry it or wait. For now, the two didn't seem to be a threat and as arousing as it would be to watch them twitch and squirm more, she wasn't going to needlessly attack them unless they made a move for Noah. A part of her almost wanted Noah to be hurt just so she'd have an excuse to punish the weird new arrivals. However, she quickly pushed that thought away with shame. She didn't want Noah to be hurt and she felt bad for even thinking that for a second.

Seeing things just got serious Whiski trotted to bandi's side to make sure she was alright "Its alright whiski...*cough**oooow* You've done worse than she has" wheezes out bandi referring to her time in a wheel chair. Noah paused in mid step to the questioning glances of those around him as a strange sensation tickled the back of his neck, urging the boy to turn his sights skyward as a great tear opened in the sky above. The young man had barely a moment to utter a questioning grunt before a quartet of strangwrs poured forth from its yawning maw, only to be cushioned by his and roses bodies eliciting a grunt of pain and surprise from both.

The sudden crash left him stunned, yet the all too familiar sent of Ozone called forth a much needed surge of adrenaline to clear his mind; soon springing to his feet despite the dull ache in his head and back, before tacking stock of the situation as his gaze darted wildly about the field.

Terrain? Unmarred, no sign of damage or Move use beyond the faint smell of Ozone. No attacks presently being directed at or around him.

Thistle? Fur ruffled, and hissing at a Tindratl defensively but otherwise fine.

Slakoth? Awake, but otherwise alright.

Rose? Startled and confused, but otherwise well.

Elysia?Unharmed though in one of her moods. Gifting strawberries and chocolate upon return highly recommended to pacify.

With the lack of panic in the area and his companions well Noah finally turned his gaze, and was not pleased by what he saw. A half naked girl, shorter than Elysia, with electrical burns on her body, struggling to breathe; let alone hold herself up while her weapon laid sheathed in her scabbard, and no appearant intent to change the fact. Shocked at her state and the lack of combat around him it took his name being called to fully snap him out of his dazed state.

"What the hell Elysia?!" he roared as he shot the young woman a glare that managed to convey both relief at her well being and reprimanded her once the full realization of the damage she'd done sunk in. To her credit Noah knew his companion could have done far worse if she'd meant true harm, but given her apparent target her response still appeared to be a hair too excessive in his eyes.

Whipping his gaze around to the fallen girl, his eyes filled with guilt and concern as locked eyes with her, "I know this fuster cluck just happened, and you have no idea what's going on; but I can make the pain go away if you let me," Noah said sincerely as he slowly approached the fallen girl; keeping his stance low and as nonthreatening as possible despite the nervous energy the hummed within him, hoping to avoid them from classifying him as a threat to be dealt with in defense of their trainer.

After seeing the girl mage "get off" to Bandi's pain and agony she wasn't to sure what to think of the other. Afterall Granny said that not all perverts fly solo, but if he was up to no good then turning him down would mean he'd just let the girl mage finish her off, and running was very much an option of last resort. With all this in mind Bandi took a deep shaky breath "Well I guess I don't have much of a choice*pant* other than do what you say.*heavy breathing*" she said as Sake kept coiled around Bandi's chest and flicked its forked tongue as if protecting the slender breasts and modesty that were not on bandi's mind at the moment despite her concern about perverts.

"I'm fine Elysia," he uttered tensely as he turned his head slightly to the side, enough to gaze at the young mage from the corner of his eyes. "She on the other hand needs to have her wounds tended now before she makes them worse," he stated poignantly letting his frustration known.

"Battle field assessment," he intoned somberly, the words 'till odd to his tongue despite how long ago Elysia had pointed out the phrase, "That's the first thing I taught you darn it!,

"This girl's unarmored, all of her pokemon fell all over the place including a freaking ponyta and a magikarp! If she were setting up an ambush, she would've setup camp up hill and used her tindratl to sneak up on us before charging our asses; not to mention she hasn't even moved for her weapon yet," he reasoned, stopping his advance to turn to the woman. "There's not a cliff anywhere near here, and ponyta's aren't built to ambush from trees. If she wanted to ambush us, she would've waited around the bend, and attacked while we rested on ponyta back. That and I saw her falling from the sky; we weren't ambushed Elysia, she and her mon were dropped her like a sack of potatoes!"

"Now then, this is what's going to happen. I'm going to help her, and unless she tries to actually mug us you are not going to hurt her, or her mon understood?" he said firmly in a tone that left little room to argue as he approached Bandi, and kneeled at her side; mindful of Sake as he placed a hand on her bare back and his expression softened considerably.

"Okay. I'm going to need you to lean back for a moment, and relax alright?" he asked warmly, waiting for her permission before doing anything.

Elysia twitches with annoyance when the topless girl gets n her back for Noah to 'treat'. A part of her wanted to fire a full powered blast of magical energy into the girl, watch her twitch and scream and be done with her. However, she knew that not only would it tick off Noah and cause a huge fight, but that there was a big difference between shocking someone and killing someone. She wasn't planning to be a murderer unless she had to be. It was one of the reasons she had held back with the first strike.

I'm glad you were trying to protect me, but if you don't keep the lesson to heart some day your going to act without the full picture, and you might not live to deal with the consequences or ever be able to set things right again. I don't want that to happen to you," he says with a sad smile before turning his attention back to Bandi.

"That's it, take deep slow breaths, and relax," he intones soothingly as he shifts his weight to better support Bandi; pressing her uninjured arm against his chest so that she could feel his heart and breath's rythim. The young boy soon began to slow his breathing to match Bandi's own as he feels her beating heart and frantic breath through her bare back in turn, hoping to guide and ease the fearful maiden.

Noah kept his own anxiousness at bay through the simple act as he studied her injuries; first hand experience had taught whim what Elysia's power wrought in others, and though he was certain he could ease her suffering he was not quite as experienced when it came to mending others.

The scope of his task known to him now, Noah began to gather his inner reserves; meeting Bandi's gaze as their breaths and beating hearts aligned. Soon a warm blue glow was born from his form as he raisied a cupped and exhaled while his blue eyes took on a deep crystal blue through their inner light.

When at last he felt himself ready he raised his cupped hand to Bandi's lips as a shimering liquid pooled in his hand like liquud saphire.

" Now drink," he whispered soothingly as he tipped his hand, allowing the clear waters to lap on her lips. If all went well the cool liquid would pass her gullet with ease, spreading a refreshing coolness through her pained form that would settle on her injuries as she briefly shared his own aquamarine halo.

As the moment passed she would be left refreshed, and her pain dulled; though she could yet feel the injury left by Elysia's touch, for the moment its pain would no linger burn at her mind.

"Feeling better?" he asked with a warm smile, ready to give her a moment to catch her breath or to help her back on his feet.

She couldn't help but feel a little self conscious when he looked at the burn on her gut. As shameless as she was it still didn't sit right with her that she didn't look as fit as she was. She was a little concerned when he started glowing after all the other mage had already tried to find sexual satisfaction in frying her, but she was in it a bit deep to fight her way out now. The magikarp, a big one with a sloped brow, fangs, and a wide body, is lying nearby, still staring wide eyed at Elysia, completely motionless except its breathing, which Noah notes isn't as shallow as it should be for a magikarp, especially one this big. Besides that, the two tendrils hanging from its mouth are gripped around a blue stone that Noah and Elysia recognize as a water stone. With all eyes suddenly on it, it starts to flop about again.

"Traditionally it's considered a good idea to let a pokemon grow through training until the body is strong enough, which usually takes about a week of consistent training," Tracy says, "most career breeders stagger that time to about a month to allow the pokemon to fully mature. This little one looks like it's been about a while, and it would have to be considering the closest ranch for them went down almost a year ago. She's likely old enough, but not trained enough. Bandi
The magikarp shows signs of significant battle experience, which is strange for a magikarp, even one of this size. It looks to be uninjured, however, most of the damage is simply superficial. It also appears to be blind in one eye, one eye dull in comparison to the other, though it's subtle. She also sees that a few of the scales, under its orange plating, are blue rather than orange, meaning, as it grew, it'd slowly turn blue.

Elysia
While considering to fry the fish, Elysia has to blink. She can practically sense the power rolling off the thing, but, that meant that the power wasn't contained, just leaking. That would have a negative effect on any pokemon, but this one seemed to be using the water stone to keep itself from being harmed by it. That would have to mean it's much smarter than the average magikarp or be extremely lucky. It would need to be stabilized soon, though, or it could actually become a danger to others once it evolves, and having an unstable gyarados in the lake at Lebryl would put everyone, including Elysia and Noah, in danger. If it was caught, it would solve both the stability problem the next time it was taken to a temple, and the danger to the fishing community. Plus, if it did go nuts, keeping it with Bandi would mean she'd be the most likely to be a target.
There was no way this magikarp was stupid. It was acting as such, but, the fact it had held completely still after an electric attack, and that it had grabbed a water stone to keep itself stable, this thing was smart, at least more so than a normal magikarp

Noah
Noah's surprised by the fish, it looks to have had an interrupted evolution, part way to gyarados, but still a magikarp. That kind of thing was incredibly rare, but the aurora had stranger effects. This was likely, in part, do to the water stone it was carrying, which, even for pokemon that didn't evolve with them, were sought after by water type pokemon. The fact this thing was able to hold onto it was odd, most magikarp were too weak to keep a hold of a water stone within the lake.
This magikarp was smarter than other magikarp, it was just playing stupid to make people underestimate it.

Bandi, Elysia, & Noah
The magikarp reacts by firing a water gun, which hits a fletchling that had been coming down from a tree, probably thinking that the magikarp was an easy meal, catching everyone off guard. Magikarp didn't learn water gun, and neither did gyarados, in fact.

Artemis looks at Tracy for a good moment. Perhaps longer than was necessary, fixing her with an unusually stern gaze. "I suppose that wouldn't be a problem." He felt he'd grow to regret that. But it was worth the risk against traveling alone.

Bandi, Elysia, & Noah
As Bandi draws her cutlass, the blade glows a deep, azure blue and a small beam zaps the water stone from the pommel of the blade. Suddenly, the water stone is gone, the magikarp is blue, and the energy that had been leaking out of it prior was completely gone. Even Elysia has to blink at that, she'd heard of all kinds of magic, but this... this escaped her entirely, she had no idea what the void just happened.

"Ugh, would you three SHUT UP!" a voice calls from nearby, turning into a shout at the last two words, walking from behind a tree is... a pokemon, brown, stylized, and clearly agitated, "damn that little warper threw me on me head," it said, sounding like a pirate, "anyone have an aspirin?"

Bandi is very surprised by this turn of events. she thought it was just an old sword the family had load of them stored away from the pirate days. They let her pick any one she wanted and she picked the closest to the door cause it was fastest, and then the talking pokemon saunters in out of no where...

It kinda reminds her of granny in the morning on an off day and she reflexively reaches into her saddlebags and pulls out a honey "I got honey gran-err I mean sir. It'd at least be something to help you forget the headache till it goes away on its own" she says to the new arrival.

Cytep looked at the pokemon for a bit, but eventually got the message and stood up, grinning. "Well if you want to make this a test then alright, let's go for it." At a glance he knew this was a fire type, so he was probably better fighting it himself. Still, a little assistance never went amiss. "I'm going to need you again Keryss..." he whispered and brought out his Chrysoon, then adopted a defensive combat stance, standing before the ash pokemon and ready to prove his worth.

Noah and his mon stood on the sidelines, their heads turning from one irate female to the other like some strange tenis match; soon it seemed the pair were busier arguing with each other, than they were talking to the magikarp. Soon a frown made its way to the worried boys face as things seemed to be heating up once more; he'd always known Elysia to be a bit of a zigzagoon at times, but now he wondered if perhaps the aurora had touched her after all. He'd be damned if he knew why the two seemed to be butting heads so much, trying to wrap his head around it all gave him a headache and his mon seemed to agree. He had to step in before things got violent again.

Then things got weird, fast. Swords were drawn, magic zipped about, the stone was gone, and now the karp was a deep blue and some strange pokemon was talking to them. Throwing caution in the wind in favor of urgency, the boy strode forward; attempting to wrap his arms around Elysia, and holding her in his embrace. "Elysia, breathe," he tried to whisper soothingly into her ear and held her against him, hoping his shared warmth might curtail the blossoming anxiety attack that would surely result in injury.

When the sword was drawn, Elysia's eyes narrowed and she lifted her hand to point at Bandi. However, the sword then fired a strange beam of magic she'd never seen. What had it done that it'd had such a huge effect on the Magikarp. Elysia's opinion of the girl went from viewing her as a weak idiot to a serious threat. The type of magic she had used was not normal.

"What I seek is thunder, shock wave!" Elysia quickly incanted, quicker than she had ever spoke it in her life. The energy formed in her hand and released and it was then that she noticed the confused look in Bandi's eyes. At first Elysia started to wonder if she'd made a mistake and was about to try and move her hand to divert the attack before it fired. However, the pirate voice behind her and Bandi reaching in her pouch caused her to keep the attack on target as she released the magic blast from her hand.

She turned to face the new figure to examine if they were friend or foe. She hoped Noah realized now how wrong he was about this not being an ambush.

Just as the attack released from her hand and flew at Bandi, she felt Noah's arms wrap around her. Why was he still being so calm, they were being... It was then she saw the honey in Bandi's hands and the pokemon and realized Bandi didn't know the pokemon.

"Oh crap..." She muttered pushing free of Noah and jumping to float 2m in the air.

"Elysia, next to me now," he growled between heavy breaths before turning to check on Bandi, already drawing his medical supplies hoping to treat her wounds.

As the mud hits Elysia, confusion crosses her. Why was Noah throwing around mud. When he yelled, she froze and looked at him. She didn't like the situation, but if he still didn't see that a fight was going on she didn't know what to do. A deep sigh escaped her lips, "She has a weapon!" She said annoyed before grumbling and starting to move towards Noah at his request. She'd have some strong words for him later.

However, when she turned her back and landed next to Noah she felt a hot flame slam against her back. She grunted out in surprise and pain and the look of annoyance changed to one of pure anger. "Happy now?!" She asked Noah sarcastically as she turned and let her left hand tap the pokeball holding Amp. Meanwhile her right hand pointed right at Bandi. "What I seek is thunder, Shock Wave!" As the snake pokemon charged, Elysia let out an annoyed sigh. She was getting tired of this fight and as hot as the topless chick's pain had been she wasn't wanting to drag this out and get hurt more.

"What I seek is thunder, shock wave." She said hurling a blast of energy at the snake hoping to stop its charge before it could spit more fire.

Amp was about to charge the snake, but Elysia held up a hand to stop him. She didn't want Amp getting too far in case she needed him to help her.

When the snake kept moving and blasted fire at Elysia, Amp quickly jumped in the way. Elysia's jaw dropped when she saw the nasty burn and she got even angrier.

"What I seek is thunder, shock wave!" Elysia incanted. "Cease this pathetic attacks, you've lost." She said annoyed before looking at Noah, "I trust I'm allowed to defend myself from attacks? I'm not killing them so you can drag them home if you seriously still care after they've shown their true colors."

Elysia quickly recalls Amp to slow the burn and turns to look at the Ponyta as she hover just a few inches above the ground. When she sees the Ponyta doesn't seem to be about to fight any more she takes a deep breath struggling to control her desire to stop fighting. A part of her longed to hurl more lightning and to keep playing with her powers and see what destruction she could cause. The fight had lasted longer than expected and the power high was coursing through her.

Elysia clenched her hands, trying to recall the calming breathing exercizes Noah had taught her. But she longed to just stop and let go, to release and see what all she could do. However, she knew that with Noah near, too much release would be dangerous. She bit her lip tightly, she could play more another time. There was no more threat. She stopped levitating, closed her eyes, and let out a few more breathes struggling for calm.

"Noah...its..." She grunted, "Trying to calm...self..." She said shaking a bit. She finally opened eyes, "I trust...no problens...self-defense...resisting urge to continue."

Noah stared at the sight in horror and anger, he'd been so close; so close to settling things again, and now it had all gone to the void. The boy was livid, he could feel the muddy waters churning in his wake as he strode through the puddles; the derune's words stirring him on ever so slightly as the boy all but fumed.

The mud covered lad approaches Elysia lock-jawed, glaring at her for a long moment as he found his words utterly lost from his barely repressed rage. After a moment of silence the boy utters unintelligible cry of exasperation before storming off towards Whisky, stopping to gently pick up Sake in arm before approaching Whisky. She said, her attempts to calm herself becoming all for naught, "I could have killed her and instead I just knocked her out! Did you miss the part where she had her little viper spit fire and burn me? Really? She attacks me and hurts me and you run to her to help her?!" She asked her tone a mix of upset, anger, surprise, and hurt. "She drew a weapon and then had the viper attack! And you run to her without even bothering to care about the fact that I've got my own injuries and am covered in mud? Or that Amp is burned and badly injured as well? Its HER you run to?" The desire to give into her power and destroy everything around her was rising. She quickly clenched her hands and sent a few small sparks at the ground near her to try and release some of the energy and aggression.

Noah nods in understanding before generating so fresh water to douse the mud off her, and to clean her wounds lest they become infected; he'd have to figure out some way to tie her down safely, but it was a start. When Noah hears Elysia's plight he strains to physically contain himself, cutting off the water he was pouring on Bandi as the puddles around him ripple. Calling upon all the wisdom and strength invested in him by his families, the boy takes a deep breath before exhaling slowly; the waters around him turning placid as they cleared.

"They were scared Elysia," he says in a tired tone as he starts cleaning Bandi once more, "They didn't know where they where, or how they got here. They were lost and confused, they were hoping we could help them find their way again. You attacked first, you had reason to, but you didn't follow through with my lessons,"

"You're so strong Elysia, and you don't even know it; it's like you said, you did hold back and even then they never stood a chance. They were nervous, because your strong; they were never really a threat to you, but they knew you were hostile against her. Even after we cleared the air, you kept insulting her, and then you went after their prey. They knew you could hurt them, they wanted you to fall back because they knew you were dangerous; and then you proved them right," he explains with a hint of disappointment in his final words as he slips out of his shirt and jacket, dressing Bandi with his shirt before placing her on Whisky's back.

"If either of you had backed off this wouldn't have happened, we'd have had a chat to find out what happened and we might've parted ways or sent them to Lebryll; but she didn't think she could afford to, and you didn't. You were stronger, you were trained; you defined the parameters of battle, and you followed through. As a predator you did well, you had complete control over the situation; but that's the thing isn't it? An meowth that corners a rattata only has themselves to blame when they're bitten," he says before turning to ELysia sadly, "This happened because they felt you were bullying them into a corner Elysia,"

With the words said he goes back to his work, more morose than angry; removing his belt before using it and his jacket to help tie her down, "I'm not angry, you protected me; and I'm proud of how well you handled yourself in the fight. You've grown a lot. What makes me sad is did you managed to protect us, and then instead of standing down you made her feel pressured enough to draw her sword to defend herself; making her into a threat that had to be put down, and when you did her youngest mon tried to protect her from the one bullying her,"

"I'm glad your safe Elysia. I've hurt you and your mon worse in our training session, so I know you're okay; but I meant what I said. Knowing when to show ypur fangs is just as important as knowing whem to strike. Out here a mistake like that can cost you; be glad it didn't today, " he explained, pausing to secure his make shift bindings before turning his attention back to Elysia.

"What's done is done, now we need to take responsibility and set things right," he stated with a thin smile.

"I didn't bully her!" Elysia said annoyed. She had been bullied a bunch and the accusation of being a bully wasn't something she liked, "If you'd worked on your magic studies more you'd have been able to detect the uncontained power the fish was leaking. If it evolved in that state it'd be an extreme danger and could have destroyed Lebryl. This girl was an idiot and not a mage, she couldn't have known or helped it. Not to mention if that harlot had kept it, she'd have had something that dangerous and destructive and unstable." Elysia explained, "And then she draws a sword and starts firing magic? Was I supposed to wait until her weird sword shot you? You know how much I study and work on magic. I STILL didn't recognize what that was or even anything like it. If she'd shot you or me with it next, who knows what it would have done." She said annoyed, "I was even about to stand down then till she had her pokemon start throwing fire. Would you have preferred I just stood around and let her burn me to death and then turn on you?"

She looked at the girl, "She got here just fine and we got a Slakoth to take home. Just leave her here." Elysia said, "Or is the fact that she's topless the reason you care? Its not like she even has any breast."

"That was most definitely bullying, kid," the Derune comments, "calling someone a slut, harlot, or what have you is bullying, if a less aggressive form of it. Then threatening a person that's obviously weaker then you as a mage, that's not only bullying, it's illegal," he says, "Zapot passed the law five years ago when the Gym Leader's daughter went missing. "That and she didn't tell the little snake to attack ya, you sorta knocked her out before that," he clarified as he returned the afformentioned mon back to its pokeball.

While the derune's suggestion would be the most convenient thing for them, it was clear that Bandi had not known about the Mon. There was no telling who, if anyone, owned the derune; let alone if the little guy would be able to safely guide and protect Bandi. The derune doesn't seem to be lying about taking Bandi back to Lebryl, but it's somewhat easy to tell he wouldn't be taking them straight there, since the direction he was aimed was slightly off, he'd likely take her to a place just outside of town first. Only place in that direction was a run down cabin that no human had used in years.

Noah, Elysia, & Whiski
"Easy there buddy," he says to the ponyta, "just need to stop at my cabin for some clothes, not like I can just walk into town dragging in an unconscious girl with people knowing I'm a pokemon now can I? She thought for a minute, "I say we hand her over." Elysia said. Either way she wouldn't have to worry about the girl. Either he'd take care of her or he'd do whatever and get rid of her. The torn and frustrated boy soom picked up the errant slakoth once more, taking a moment to stroke it and Thistle's fur to soothe himself before standing up once more.

"Whelp, let's take you home little fella," he said mostly to himself, giving Elysia a moment to get ready before heading off once more.

"That's the same thing Elysia," Noah points out in mild irritation, unsure why ELysia insisted on pressing the point; let alone she restricted herself specifically to insults of that nature. "She lost her top when the sky spat her out, and you blasted her right after! It's not like covering herself was a priority then, and she did cover herself up with one of her mon's help remember? And so what if she was topless?! Void, I'm topless right now; it ain't the first time, and ma and pa still nag me about that crap every once in a while. Does that make me a slut then? Noah & Elysia
It's only a short while later that Elysia and Noah come across a copse of trees with several red and brown berries that neither were familiar with, but that Elysia had already identified as the berries that change a pokemon's color. A couple slakoth nearby waved over, climbing about the trees with more speed than most slakoth, it was quite interesting to watch such stereotypically lazy pokemon moving about so easily.

Whiski
Vashodd shrugs as he dons the hat, and its a short while later that Whiski enters the town from last night, only in the opposite direction from where he had entered previously and leads him to the temple, "Here we are, just head inside, they should take her to be treated right away, I won't be joining you," he says simply, "if the little lady wants her clothes back come to the cabin later, I'll have them ready for pickup if she wants them, otherwise I'll be putting them into the temple charity bin tonight."

Cytep
The food is served swiftly, plates of fish, fiddleheads in a light vinaigrette, a roll of hearty bread, an empty pint with three drinks available on the tables, cider, ale, or simple water, and some kind of pasty he finds is made with potato and stantler meat. It was a hearty meal meant for people that worked all day mixed with elegant cuisine designed to complete the meal and give all the nutrients one would need for the day.

Artemis
The shell pops open, and the captain raises an eyebrow, "well this is qui' a beaut', I ca' see why ya'r int'rested Trace," the captain says, "ya accep'd to her coming with ya, an' I won' stop ya. Bu' I wan' ya to keep 'er fro' gettin' in ova 'er 'ead, she 'as a 'abit of gettin' inta trouble. Keep a weather eye open while trav'lin wit' 'er."

Briefly shooting Elysia a glare he turns his attention to the Slakoth on his back before taking it into his arms , "Welcome back home little buddy, and it seems your friends have been waiting for ya too," Noah says amiably as he walks over towards a nearby tree to place the Slakoth down with its friends.

Closer now the young boy eyes the fruits inquisitively, noticing that all the slakoths seemed to be enjoying the unfamiliar berry, "Would it be okay if I take some of these with me?" he asked curious as to not only what benefits the maroon berries had, but also what the wild fruits tasted like.

Noah & Elysia
The slakoth climbs the tree, then snips down a few of the red berries and a few of the brown berries with its claws, then climbs back down to snip down something else, which it handles with extra care before passing down a strange looking pod. Rose gets across that Noah should be careful with it. It climbs off.

Noah and Elysia are both able to note that the one they brought back had redder fur than the others here, most seemed to prefer the brown berries.

Five Red Berries
Five Brown Berries

One Strange Pod

Whiski
Vashodd chuckles, "thank ya, I hope you'll stop by, Marcus and I don't get many visitors," and with that he wanders off. Whiski, now in the temple, is able to get Bandi some attention pretty easily. It would be about an hour before she'd wake up.

Cytep
There are several people nearby, about half already chatting and exchanging stories, a few though, are on their own. There's one sitting at a table not far off with a pair of tinted glasses, ratty black hair, and pale skin eating at a leisurely pace. Opposite him are a pair of younger women that don't seem to be doing anything other than eating and sneaking glances around the room, occasionally pointing at someone before looking back at each other. One's a redhead and ones a blonde. Another part of the room has the kid that Cytep had identified as the cabin boy when he first joined. He looked like he hadn't slept in weeks, but according to the other crew members, he looked like that well before he joined the ship.

Artemis
The captain nods, "very well, then," he says, "well now, le's go eat. Ou' chef is th' bes' I've ev'r met an' I wan' t' ge' my meal sti' warm," seems he wasn't the traditional 'touch my daughter and I'll kill you' captain from the stories.

"Huh, that explains; and here I thought you were just a terrible cook!" Noah jabbed back in good humor, though Elysia's prodding soon caused that mirthful grin of his to dim as a knot settled heavily on his stomach. "It's the same thing, being weird, different or special I mean. Nothing too it, besides I've got you..." he says as he turns his focus back to the berries, keeping the sight of his faltering smile away from his companions, "If I had a girlfriend too, I'd probably end up hanging myself!" Noah quipped, burying it all beneath false bravado and a cocky grin.

Luckily the slakoth's spare him further trouble as they rain their bounty down upon the boy, who immediately perked up as he and his mon scrambled to catch the falling fruit; the act bringing his trademark grin in earnest as their impromptu game comes to an end, and the fruit is stored in his pack. When at last the strange pod is giving to him, the boy takes it in arm as if it were made of glass and gives the Slakoths a grateful nod.

"Thanks for everything you guys, and take care! If you're ever in town, feel free to find me," he said politely in parting before the pair got ready to head out once more.

Noah & Elysia
The trip back seemed slower than the initial trip, despite the lack of people falling from the sky, but, by Noah's estimation, they actually returned faster than they had arrived at the grove.

Bandi
Bandi wakes to find herself in a Temple bed, Whiski standing nearby, she felt sore, and bandages pulled at her skin slightly, they'd used poultices, which itched her skin, but she otherwise felt fine. Her pokeballs were on the table next to the bed.

Artemis
"You're lucky lad, if sh' di'n't have a bo'fr'nd a'fore ya, ya'd 'ave been on th' otha end o' th' capt'n's graces," a weasel-ly looking man says from nearby, his accent was atrocious, it took a moment for Artemis to translate what the man had said, but he's gone before he can reply, having been led to and entered the dining room already where he got a tray of very hearty, and delicious looking and smelling, food. It ranged from elegant to rustic, and it was good regardless.

"*Gasp!* that sadistic pooch! she zapped me while my back was turned just to get off, and swipe the fish out from under me didn't she!? Where is she!? *gasp* wait where's sake!?" rants bandi as Whiski holds her down with his snout until she calms down enough for him to point out the pokeballs on the table next to her. Noah
Noah arrives at the temple, and is greeted once again by Kaitlyn, "Hello again Noah, something happen again?" she asks with a soft smile.

Elysia
Elysia arrives at her house to find Vashodd, the derune, in Bandi's clothing, walking down the road while making something out of straw, a baskets actually hanging on his back like a backpack, holding several herbs as he walked down the road out of town. He glances over and waves with the hand that's holding the thing, which she sees is a straw hat, likely to replace the twig one he's already wearing.

Bandi
The other pokeball rolled off the table and let out the blue magikarp as Whiski drags a woman in, "what are you-" she starts, only to stop when she sees Bandi, and gently pushes her back into the bed, "calm down. You had a rather nasty burn, if you stretch it too much you'll split the skin. Let the poultice do its work, it will strengthen the skin enough to prevent that from happening, but it will take some time still," she goes over to the other side and returns the magikarp, "I'll get the doctor, he'll tell you when you'll be ready to leave."

Artemis
Artemis can see the town they'd be stopping at in the distance, that would be his stop, then he'd be going off almost directly perpendicular to the river to. "Rena's actually off at the moment, dealing with a case of someone on the wrong end of a philostone's toxic in Poal," Kaitlyn replies, naming the second closest town to Lebryl, Zapot being the closest, "I can put it in her office for her to look at when she gets back," she indicates the pod, "and see if I can't look into those berries, I'm not a botanist, but I might be able to find someone that can help."

She then pulls his shirt from behind the desk and hands it to him, "I take it the girl that came in earlier was on the road while you were dealing with the slakoth?"

Elysia
Vashodd raises an eyebrow, "about a week after the first vanished, no trace of her whatsoever beyond some psychic residue with her own signature," he says, "mind if we walk and talk? I don't want to stick around any longer than I have to," regardless of the answer, he continues to speak, "as for why she cares, most people are saying that the elder vanished because the younger did, so bringing back the younger one would lead to the elder coming back. I don't believe it myself, I've seen Angela, and she's got so many greys it's hard to tell her hair used to be purple, that can't be from just one daughter," he continues, offering his own opinion, "though I don't know her personally so I can't exactly say for sure. As for the lead, I can't say much, all I know is they're searching Poal," he named the town closest to Lebryl besides Zapot itself, "They're looking for some lady with red eyes, I don't know, not like I can tell," he comments, then looks at Elysia for a sec, apparently finding something he simply says, "colorblind," while pointing to his own eyes.

Bandi
Before Bandi can get far into her rant, she instinctively has to grab her side as a sharp pain shoots up from under the bandages, when she pulls a hand away, some blood leaked through the bandages and was now on her hand.

"I told you to keep still," the woman says, "Doctor, she's bleeding," she calls out.

A man comes in this time, looking like an average joe except for the fact his eyes were white with the whites of his eyes being blue and no visible pupil. He sighs loudly, then sets a hand on her side, the pain fades, but Bandi's eyes grow heavy and she falls asleep. She wakes later with her side being extremely sore. Her bandages were changed, and she could feel the pull of stitches under them. Sake is wrapped around her arm, completely fine, Whiski was asleep nearby, and the magikarp was in a tank off to the side of the room, which had not been their before.

"We brought the tank in after your surgery, since you panicked when you couldn't find your pokemon, we decided to leave them with you rather than in the pokemon care unit," the doctor from earlier said, "you'll be able to leave tomorrow morning, but you'll be in a wheel chair until tomorrow night. It'll take about that long for the medicine to seal that gash completely," he puts down the clip board and turns to Bandi, "that was a really stupid move, kid. You should know that pokemon are treated in a separate wing than humans, especially poisonous ones like tinderatl."

Artemis
"In a sense," Tracy says, coming up behind Artemis, "I've seen them before. I call them wisps, personally. One of the local gym leaders deals with them. People call him the undertaker," she says, looking on with that far off gaze from before, "apparently he's the reason the town is a ghost town, even if he never did anything."

I've actually been in for bumps and burns from whiski and sake before I should have known better, but this was kinda my first time jumping through magic portals and getting the stuffing fried out of me by sadistic, trigger happy, backstabbing, catch poaching electric mages... sooo yeah I guess I panicked a bit thinking even one of my pokemon might have been stolen while I was out or worse. Anyway how did I get here? Oh! and does anyone know whats up with this karp? As expected, her family didn't care about her, they just wanted to bring her sister back and figured bringing her back would do so. "I see...that makes sense though." She comments, "But it took this many years for them to start looking?"

Noah
Kaitlyn gives a soft sigh, "She's here, would have been out by now if not for an incident with her making her injuries worse. Dr. Marcus is with her now," Dr. Marcus was a well respected doctor that used incredibly unusual techniques for medicinal purposes, "you can see her if you'd like, she's in the human wing, B23."

Elysia
"They've been looking, from what I heard. The same day the younger left," Vashodd says as he leads Elysia out of the town, down a dirt road that led to the abandoned part of town, he turned back to look down the road before he continued, "I actually met both before they vanished, the younger was eleven, I think, saw her getting pushed around by a couple psychics, blacked out before I got to her, but I managed to chase the others away, accidently took one's leg off, which is why derune are banned from the city," Vashodd says, "...I don't get how people thought she was weak, I could see the magic in her, power over the wind and lightning."

Bandi
The doctor raises an eyebrow, "...care to explain that a bit more on that?" he holds up a hand, "actually, let me answer your questions first, might be quicker that way. You came in riding on your ponyta, I'm guessing Noah tied you to him so you could get here, he's usually with Elysia this time of day and sorta balances her out," he comments, "your little buddy over there is still having tests run, but, if I had to guess, he's essentially the reverse of a red gyarados, which is an incomplete evolution leaning more to the gyarados side. He's probably an incomplete evolution leaning more towards magikarp. He's surprisingly stable for that though."

He then reasks the question he'd asked earlier, "with that out of the way, mind explaining exactly what happened?"

Artemis
"It's hard to explain, but, his very presence seemed to drive the town mad, he didn't lift a finger against them, they all killed each other," Tracy starts, "he doesn't have that effect on anyone now, and never did before then, but, the town just went mad, and now all that's left are the wisps that haunt the town and the ghost pokemon that herd them."

"Wellll..." says bandi trying to think of where to start "I'm not exactly sure how long I've been out, but I arrived in town one night with the goal to find a pokemon to train into one of the best water mounts ever, and not just one of those flying crustaceans everyone else uses. So I went down to a bar and poked around for tales of fish that got away from drunk fishermen. I head one about a really big, and fast karp in a river bend outside of town so I rode out there, but before I could start fishing weird pokemon showed up... I didn't get a good look at it but it had a pink eye and a blue one and when it roared it made everything look like I had like 10 to many shots. Then I fell off whiski and sake fell off me I told sake to hold on but what ever was causing her to fall off was strong enough to rip my top off with her. Then I couldn't see nothing and everything smelled like fish, and I felt like I was falling. When I got my bearings again it was day time, and I was staring up at the sky. I panicked a bit wondering where sake was but thankfully she was still on me. Then that electric mage I think she's called ely or something like that out of no where fried me. Apparently I didn't notice that I had landed on her friend I think he was called noah. She could have just said something, but judging by how aroused she looked injuring me I think she's might be a sadist, and was probably jumping for any excuse to get off to something. Anyway Noah called her off did some of this magic stuff and I got better well besides the electric burns. Then they said something about a fish that dropped from the sky, I looked around, and BAM there he was! except he was red at first and he had his mustache wrapped around a water stone. So I go up to it and try to talk it into coming with me, and that pooch Ely suddenly comes up and starts trying to talk it into coming with her! She was totally trying to poach my catch! So I made a case that he wouldn't want to go with an electric sadist, and that I'd do my best to make sure he lived up to his potential, and then I after drawing my sword for emphasis I told it if it didn't want either of us I'd make sure it got back home cause I didn't want to see a fish like that get reduced to being that mages sex toy. And then more weird stuff happened... err... this is going to sound crazy but my sword some how zapped the fish turned it blue and made the water stone disappear, but it doesn't stop there. A derune with a pirate accent then comes out of the woods complaining about a head ache, and I kinda reflexively reached into my bag for some medicine cause he kinda reminded me of my granny and offered him some honey, and then at that moment when my back was turned to the mage she zapped me again. At that point I'm more pissed than a primeape with pigtails, and I think there was some mud and fire I'm not sure I had a hard enough time breathing let alone taking in my surroundings. Anyway I pull myself up onto whiski intent on teaching that mage a lesson and then it all goes blank, and I wake up here... so physically the fish checks out right? he was blind in one eye before at least when we first met anyway. Oh I'm not sure how long I've been out between magic weirdness and being KO'd so uhh... could you tell me the time and date?"

Noah arrives just as Bandi asks the time and date.

Elysia
Vashodd looks at Elysia, he looks like he wants to ask something, and Elysia can guess that it may actually be something she doesn't want him to ask, and luckily he doesn't ask, instead, he asks something else, "would you like to try a battle? I haven't had a chance to in months, and I need to get back into it if I want to start travelling again."

Bandi & Noah
"Ran afoul of Elysia, eh? No wonder you had such bad injuries. Sounds like everyone got a bit jumpy, just be glad Noah had been there, he's one of the few people that can reel Elysia in," the doctor comments, "speaking of," he turns to the door, "come on in Noah."

Artemis
"It's a cache site, there are supplies stored in some of the houses, ones that won't go bad from just sitting around, sealed in ghost proof rooms," Tracy says simply, "You'll see soon, we're almost there," the town was almost right next to the boat.

She commented, "As for myself, I still got a small burn from earlier and I'm not very good at holding back. It's an interrupted evolution, we have to make sure it's stable."

Elysia
Vashodd shrugs, "could help ya find a few, I know the area better than any human, two centuries can do that to a mon," he offers, then points off into a part of the woods, "Not many unique ones in this particular area, there are a few good ones in the area though."

Is there anything I can do to make up for all this?" he explains guiltily with a frown.

Whiski then nudges her to bring her back into focus "Oh! you were apologizing weren't ya? Err.. It's around this time that the doctor returns, "got the results on the magikarp. It's perfectly healthy, though its DNA shows some anomalies, just a minor mutation. Any pokemon hatched by it will follow a similar path to this one, though it'll be a recessive trait."

Elysia
Vashodd just grins as he leads Elysia to a cabin, that looks long abandoned, sets down the basket of herbs, goes inside before emerging without the clothing he had been wearing a moment prior, "not as much as you think," before long, she's lead to a clearing where she can see three different pokemon, a bunch of humanoid pokemon that look to be wearing orange wraps and pants, with grey skin, black furred pokemon that remind her of mareep, and a single pokemon that's a head taller than Elysia and looks to be the final form of the smaller humanoid pokemon. The humanoid ones are herding the sheep, "don't try going after the big guy. He's more experienced than any mon I've ever met. We'll need to talk to him about ya recruiting one of the mon here first though. If you convince him, he might let ya take one of each along with ya. Only in the area for a couple of days before they head off."

"An interrupted evolution, it's a rare anomaly where some pokemon start evolving but stop part way through, it's usually just a physical trait, though some to gain increased power from it," the doctor says, "as for stability, an interrupted evolution often causes an imbalance in the pokemon that causes them to act erratically or have some kind of physical defect of some sort. A stable one has none of those problems. By your story, he wasn't stable before and was using the water stone to delay the effects of the instability, which means he's definitely got the intelligence of his evolved form, though not clouded by the rage they tend to possess. Something you have on you must have caused a catalytic effect to fully stabilize him fully, I have someone examining your cutlass, I assure you we won't damage it in any-" someone comes in and whispers something to the doctor, "you're kidding?" he says before the newcomer, a man with black hair and eyes, "well, that explains it. Your cutlass has a piece of a gyaradosite in it, which was recently active. That's almost definitely what caused the stabilization effect."

Elysia
Vashodd shakes his head, "you can try, but I doubt he'll leave his ward's behind, unless he finds someone else to take care of them, and don't look at me, as I'm registered to a pokeball I don't count," he says, "won't know until you talk to him though. He can't reply verbally, but he knows how to write, so be patient with him."

Artemis
"You have no sense of romance do you?" Tracy says with a sigh, "oh look, a wisp," she says, pointing to a small glowing sphere of blue mist gliding out of the wall of a building into another, "don't worry, they can't do anything except... float around." she says, "that, on the other hand," she points to a gastly looking directly at them, but keeping its distance, "is something to keep some distance from. "No, gyaradosite is a substance which allows gyarados to temporarily evolve into a higher form, sort like a water stone for a poliwhirl except only for a short period of time. It requires more than just the stone though, I'm not familiar enough with the process to say much more on it though," the doctor clarifies, "a broken one like the one in her sword carries a connection to the species line, but can't induce the evolution."

Elysia
The human-like pokemon glances at Elysia, his stare level and right into Elysia's eyes, not wavering in the slightest before he blinks and glances at Vashodd, who indicates Elysia, getting a nod from the taller pokemon, as she learns when he jumps from the rock to land next to her, he was a full head taller than her. He nods to her, in the affirmative. What she had thought was a sleeve from a distance was actually the pokemon's right arm, which it kept across its chest. It reaches into a fold of the same orange substance that made up its arm and pulled out a piece of charcoal, which it used to write on its arm, what is your name, child?

Artemis
Artemis and Tracy walk through the town, until Artemis spots a strange creature that was mimicking a piece of shadowed wood. It raced off with a loud screech when pointed out, hopping across roofs to escape. Tracy, pale, pulled Artemis along until they came to the main street, where a large beast erupted a house, dragging the outside of the building inward, which was all incorporated into its body. The beast showed its power with a blast of raw power from its mouth, getting Tracy and Artemis to run still farther, Artemis drawing out Carian, his honedge, and Tracy bringing out Darwin, her frogadier. A quick rain dance and swords dance later, and the beast ripped another house apart, incorporating it all into its armor again, growing in size. It did so again moments later when it was revealed that bullets didn't work on it, then dared the pair to attack it with a savage roar.

A turn around came when Artemis used Carian and his sheath to cause the beast to cringe, leaving it open for Darwin's water pulse, after which Tracy used a pester ball to confuse and slow the beast, effectively turning the tide of the battle with the much stronger creature. Tracy then pulled a flare gun and fired right into the beast's face, stunning it enough for a cannonball from the distant Morgan ship to slam a part of a building into it, effectively chasing it away, with it shedding the armor it had built up during the twisted game of cat and mouse.

Tracy shivered as the beast ran, "what was that thing?" she finds herself asking despite Artemis asking the same question not even two minutes prior.

The monkross looks at Elysia with half lidded eyes, then writes out, your aura has given me some insight already. I cannot say I trust you he pauses and then continues, but I know enough to say you can remain and challenge my herd or students if you are interested in one.

Artemis
Artemis arrives at the church, where Tracy retrieves the supplies left there, handing one pack to Artemis before they head out to leave, only for a small purple pokemon to dive bomb them, it doesn't land a hit, but it keeps them in the building. Three gastly phase through the windows and encircle the three, leaving the two trainers no exit to go to without encountering a pokemon.

We can do the rest over Skype now if you'd like, will just need your rolls in the OOC since Reg is away.

"The fact that you cannot trust me is why I wish to extend an offer to earn your trust." Elysia replies, "Give me a task, let me show you can trust me." She says. "And might I ask how your top students are doing? The fact you have an entire heard implies you are a good teacher."

"Well, I don't have much on my plate to day," Noah begins, wetting his lips slightly as he mulls over an idea, "If ya'd like, once I check if anybody needs me; I could swing by here with some games to help ya pass the time," he offered with a thin smile.

Elysia
Only time will build trust, those that rush to be trusted, are even harder to trust than those that don't try. he writes, holding the arm up for Elysia to see, then looks around for another piece of charcoal, the piece he had been using almost completely gone. Vashodd brings over a piece for him.

Artemis
With Tracy's help, the gastly and garglint are caught or defeated, with Artemis catching the garglint and Tracy catching a gastly. One of the gastly was taken down by the garglint, which was protecting the church from both the humans and the ghosts.

The rock throw from the garglint actually dislodged a tile, showing a hollow underneath the tile. Tracy investigates, pulling out a pair of stones of some kind.

Two unidentified stones. One purple, one green. Neither look like elemental stones.

"I don't care what you say, if there is such a thing as luck, I possess only the bad kind." Artemis says as he looks around the area. He recalls Arista before looking at what Tracy picked up. "What are those things? Something else that's going to try and kill us?"
