I will soon be starting in a new campaign in a custom world, so no red wizard/halruaan elder/hathran etc.
Which is a pity because I love the idea of circle magic. Not so much for its power, and more for its awesomeness.

So is there a nice replacement for circle magic?

- Cooperative spell is quite nice, and I will take it if nothing else comes up.
- DM will probably be open to light homebrewing, so maybe ask for circle magic as a feat? Would that be overpowered?

Ghostwalk has a version of Circle Magic available as a feat. IIRC, the feat is even called 'Circle Magic'.

Significantly more limited than CM available through the prestige classes you've listed, but it's the only other source I can think of off-hand.

Ah so there is a feat that sort of gives circle magic. Then I'll just ask my DM if I can take something similar as feat. Thanks!
