Leveler monsters scale in level. The stats in the above stat block are for a level 1 leveler monster. With additional levels, the monster's stats change in the following manner:
* For each additional level, add one construct hit die.
** These hit dice increase saves and BAB normally.
** Each of these hit dice gives 5 hit points.
* Str and Dex increase by +1 every even numbered level.
* Natural armor increases by +1 every odd numbered level.
* CR is equal to level
* At levels 3, 6 and 9, the construct gains one of the following special abilities (caster level for SLA's is their level, saving throws are Cha-based):
** SLA: Burning Hands 3/day
** SLA: Shocking Grasp 3/day
** SLA: Cure Light Wounds 3/day
** SLA: Doom 3/day
** 1d6 Sneak Attack and Dex +2
** Power Attack and Str +2
** Improved Initiative
Lifebind (Ex):
Despite being a construct, leveler monsters act like living creatures in the following ways:
* Can be healed by cure spells like a living creature.
* Is not immune to critical hits or sneak attacks.
* Does not get bonus hit points due to size.
Breakdown (Ex):
Leveler monsters are made to be killed; those who do are rewarded. When a leveler monster is destroyed, they vanish into thin air; in their place is 1d10 gold pieces for each level of the monster.
