Possible Jedi Build

Ok so one of my campaign mates wanted me to run this build by you all.

Psychic Warrior (Martial Kineticist) gestalted with the Soulknife (Gifted Blade/Nimble Blade)
That this would be a very good if not perfect combination of a force user in Pathfinder.
Elan race, since they are immortal they can live a long time Yoda-like.

Funny you should mention that. Ultimate Psionics actually contains a prestige class attuned to your very purpose (Called Dark Tempest). I advise you check it out for this build, as it has the all sorts of jedi-style fluff to it.

Well it does look interesting and he said he might take that as a Prestige Class.

But is the gestalt suggested a good jedi/force user build?
