My DM let me roll a twelfth level character, and it has to be an arcane caster. I want to use the above build, but is there a better build for a human wizard? He's an evoker, with the spell focus and greater spell focus (evocation) feats. He also has Spell Mastery and Signature Spell (guess which spell!) feats. He's got one feat free, and I'm debating what to use it for.

Obligatory Wizard Handbook (http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?topic=394) link.

An optimized Wizard is not an Evoker, he actually picks that as a prohibited school.

Wizard 12 would be a better build, just because it doesn't lose any levels of spellcasting. Magic Missile doesn't have a saving throw, so why take Spell Focus and Greater Spell Focus at all?

Don't specialize in Evocation, it's the second worst choice of school specialization. Conjuration is better at dealing damage than Evocation. If you want to make a caster who's dedicated to dealing damage, make a Mailman (http://community.wizards.com/forum/previous-editions-character-optimization/threads/1765181).

If you're going with magic missile spam, then the feats Fell Drain and Arcane Thesis (Magic Missile) are a must. Spell Focus can probably be dropped, because you're not going to care about their saves if you're just throwing auto-hit negative levels at them, so that's two feats slots open for it.

Indeed, you definitely want to either go with Fell Drain or at least change from a wizard to a sorcerer. Sorcerers tend to make better blasty arcanists, whereas wizards go for utility/battlefield control.
