My players are coming to a final confrontation with a group of orcs allied with human monks and wizards in a temple, and the PCs have been doing an excellent job; they've utilized successful hit and run tactics, made allies with many of the denizens in the deeper levels of the complex, and gained quite a lot of intel about their foes. So much in fact, that i'd like to throw them a curve ball.
So using one or two castings of lesser planar ally, how could a group of 12 orc warriors, 4 orc rogues, 1 orc cleric, 2 ogres, 3 human monks, 4 shadows, and 1 human conjurer best shore up their weak spots? The battle will be taking place in an underground colosseum where the orcs and conjurer are working on an elaborate ritual. The shadows are material components for the ritual so they would only inter the battle as a last resort, and their are 3 exits from the room that the party is likely to block off within the first 3 rounds. The warriors are level 2, the rogues are level 1, the cleric is level 4, the monks are levels 3, 3, and 5, and the conjurer is level 8. What sort of evil outsiders would best fill gaps in their abilities?
