Just a quick question. Any mundane horse accessories beyond saddle, bridle, armor, maybe saddlebags or a cart if you're feeling ambitious?

A reach weapon, like a lance or longspear? Shortbow or composite longbow? Food for your mount, if you're in a game that tracks that stuff. For RP reasons, a blanket for your mount.

Masterwork tools? For that +2 competence bonus on a particular skill.

Such as horse's eye glasses of better seeing for the +2 to spot.

Or horseshoes of striding for the +2 to jump.

Horseshoes of Speed (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicItems/wondrousItems.htm#horseshoesofSpeed) are really good if you plan on doing a lot of riding.

For 10k, you can get a fiend to graft wings onto your mount (feathered wings graft, fiend folio pg. 210) to give it a fly speed = 2x land speed.
