I have a low level gnomish bard in a friend's Pathfinder campaign. It's obvious to me that my friend isn't really using the world of Golarion as his setting and the notion of a Pathfinder Society doesn't quite mesh with his overarching story, but I've still been looking at the Pathfinder Chronicler prestige class as an option in the near future. My GM doesn't mind me taking the class (and is willing to assume that a Pathfinder Society exists, albeit one with less influence than the one in Golarion). Having said that, I was wondering if anyone in the playground had experience using the class and if there were any fun surprises or unfortunate drawbacks that they ran into.
