I was just trawling through some older books, and came across the d20 D&D feat Reincarnated. I want to bring this to a 3.5 game, but I'm not sure if either a 3.5 version exists or whether it is actually balanced against 3.5 feats.
Short description: 1st-level only feat, no other prerequisites. Gain any non-restricted skill (?) as a class skill. One "soulmate" (determined by DM) will instantly recognize you when met and you have a +2 bonus on all charmisa-based checks with them.
Source: Ravenloft Campaign Setting (Though it would seem general enough to be used outside it)
