OK, I'm planning on throwing a villain who uses Dragon Style at my players shortly, but I feel I need to understand fully how it works before I do that and the person I usually ask about these things is in the campaign and making tactics for the group so I can't go to them for advice.
Now, this character counts as an 11th Level Monk, with Dragon Style, Dragon Ferocity, Dragon Roar, and Elemental Fist. Dragon Ferocity allows them to use Elemental Fist as a Monk of Four Winds, meaning it does 3d6 energy damage. Dragon Roar normally does the character's unarmed strike damage (2d8, due to their equipment), but can expend one use of Elemental Fist to " deal your Elemental Fist damage to those caught in the cone. This damage is not halved even on a save."
So, if my character was to use a Dragon Roar with one use of their elemental fist, would the attack be 3d6 energy damage of my choice, or be 2d8+3d6 damage, as an elemental fist unarmed strike would be?
I'd really appreciate it if someone could clear this up for me. :smallredface:
