View Full Version : Neat little leap attack team combo

Let's say your party has among it 3 characters:
1. The standard (well, for this forum anyway) psychic warrior who leap-shock-power attacks while expanded to huge size who does a lion's charge to get a full attack.
2. A meat-shield, perhaps a barbarian or a righteous-mighted cleric.
3. An arcane caster with the spell "benign transposition", for those of you who don't know a 1st level spell that allows you to switch the position of 2 allies.

The party goes up against the BBEG. The psychic warrior gets initiative and goes first. He does his lion's charge leap attack and does mega damage. But to do so, he used the shock trooper feat's ability to lower his armor class. The BBEG is now very mad, and is preparing to swing at the defenseless psychic warrior with all his might.

But the arcane caster goes next. He casts benign transposition, and the psychic warrior and the meat shield switch places. The BBEG goes, and nails the meat shield, but not as hard as he would have the defenseless psychic warrior. The meat shield then gets to go, getting a full attack because he's been moved up to standing right next to the BBEG.

Next round, the psychic warrior can do his leap charge attack again. Neat, eh?

Ah, yes, I'm a big fan of benign transposition.

That's a great combo. Even if you don't do the whole psy-warrior-leap-shock-power-attack thing, just a generic fighter with a couple non-core feats that trade AC for damage can lead the assault.
