sorcerers are men and women who have sworn their service to a powerful non-god being in exchange for arcane power using blood pacts binding them together a sorcerer draws power from one strong being ranging from a dragon, fey, demon lord, archdevil, celestial, titan,Couatl or elder evil.

their essence slowly merges with that of their sponsor and their retain their powers after their sponsor death however if their sponsor dies they can't level up as a sorcerer until they find a new one of the same type

I am looking for cool special ability for the difference being the sorcerers are sworn to any one got any cool ideas.

Thank you guys so much:smallbiggrin:

I recommend you steal from pathfinder really (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/sorcerer). Their sorcerer embodies this concept, allowing you to be linked to a dragon (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/sorcerer/bloodlines/bloodlines-from-paizo/draconic-bloodline), an elemental (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/sorcerer/bloodlines/bloodlines-from-paizo/elemental-bloodline), a fae (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/sorcerer/bloodlines/bloodlines-from-paizo/fey-bloodline), a celestial (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/sorcerer/bloodlines/bloodlines-from-paizo/celestial-bloodline), a deamon (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/sorcerer/bloodlines/bloodlines-from-paizo/daemon-bloodline), an orcish warlord (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/sorcerer/bloodlines/bloodlines-from-paizo/orc-bloodline).......

Your sorcerers are not warlocks, for they cast spells instead of invocations and so on.

You are as noted somewhat similar in concept to the Pathfinder Bloodlines. Basel (http://paizo.com/prd/classes/sorcerer.html) and Advanced (http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/advanced/coreClasses/sorcerer.html).

You have an implied master / servant or patron / recipient relationship. What will the master ask for, and what besides spell casting will they give in return?

For fluff reasons, you might want to have sorcerers of different "schools" have established relationships, e.g., a sorcerer deriving power from a coatl is probably not going to be fond of those deriving power from Elder Evils. And the ongoing Gold Dragon / Red Dragon feud will spill over into their sorcerers.

Well the master has a cleric/god kind of relationship handing out Quests, giving help in emergencies,Advice when its important , must be within one step of the sponsors alignment except more personnel sometimes even face to face, because the blood pact pact fuses the two to an extent.

As for gaining enemies thats the kind of thing that get determined based on setting
