Suddenly a tower emerged from the earth, the tower is about 50 yard high and doesn't look very special except for it's height and it's apparent ability to dig the earth. Inside is a library and at the top a small home fitting for a wizard of small power. This wizard is Ingolince Yuhtáno.

Atriuls vaults out of Grit's and sprints to the Tower. He begins banging on the door. "Let me in!"

At the top of the tower the stairs end and there's an elf sitting there, surrounded by lots of books and a display of wands in front of him.

The unseen servant opens the door and the raven says

Atriuls, isn't it?

Schnick raises an eyebrow but nods slowly That's true. You appear to know a lot about me.

I just happen to like divination spells. I have the cantripize feat, makes any spell have a spell level * 10 percant chance of failing, but it only takes a 0th level spell slot. And since I've got a magic item giving me infinite spell slots.

"Yes, it is, in fact! And I'd like to know why you made a tower-" He jabs a finger at the inn. "That looks almost exactly like mine and is attracting more attention!"

This tower is very old, in fact, it just is a traveling tower.

((So a 9th level cantripized spell would have a 90% chance of failure, but because he can cast it an infinate number of times it doesn't really matter? So this wizard could cast 9th level spells all day long?))

Atriuls' voice takes on a high-pitched sound and he rocks back and forth. "It's just a traveling tower! We didn't rip you off!" He snarls. "Listen, Flappy McFeatherson, this is war!"

((There are two problems with that, one it would only work when you have the time to keep casting them and the ability to take the negative effects of the spell (XP costs, material components and the like) would still be expended on a failure. And two he isn't a high enough level to cast ninth level spells, he can cast 6th level spells at most and he only knows two of them (flesh to stone and a divination spell I haven't decided upon yet)))

I'm sorry, but this isn't my tower, only the tower of my master. And we don't have the facilities to be an inn, if any comes here thinking this is an inn we'll surely point them to your tower.

((Ah, I thought he could cantripize any spell of any level. Just wondered :)))

Schnick nods I see. Well, I would very much appreciate your help, if you would like.

"Oh, I believe you!" Atriuls says, the sarcasm in his voice inescapable. "Why don't I go see your master and have a nice little talk about copyright infringement." He makes an attempt to push past into the Tower.

((An item that gives you ‘infinite spell slots’ would cost way more than the proscribed amount for the Hamlet. Use the Pearls of Power or Rings of Wizardry as a reference. An item like what you described would be an Epic Artifact and then some.))

Schnick wakes from his extended coma and looks a bit shocked by the time that has passed. Seeing the wizard is also in a coma he turns around and runs out of the tower and back to the inn.
