So... the time is coming for me to make a new skill monkey (more literally than most this time, he's going to be a Vanara). The group doesn't like doing rogue-ish stuff, and I usually don't play rogues, so I'm going with an Incarnate, going into Legacy Champion.
In order to keep pace (we've agreed to stick to T3, but we REALLY like pushing that boundary), the DM is allowing me an Item Familiar and has stated that he won't Disjoin it unless I start to get way too far ahead of the group, something I'm fairly confident won't come up. Can I make the same Ring of Protection +1 into both a Custom Legacy (also specifically approved) and an Item Familiar at the same time?
