So I'm joining in another game this weekend and I want to make a character, melee, that compliments a Barbarian or Rogue or another melee type. The game will go from level 1 to level 7.
I'm leaning toward Human Viking Fighter. I want to be able to do something each round so I'm building an intimidation build. I'm not looking to be a huge damage dealer since there will be another PC for which I will flank with.
Ability Scores
Str: 18 (+2 from human)
Dex: 13
Con: 12
Int: 8
Wis: 10
Cha: 12
Not as optimized as it could be but I like them
Level 1Basics
HP: 12
AC: 5 (Scale Male) + 1 (Dex) + 2 (heavy shield) + 1 (Defender of society trait): 19
Attack: 1 (BAB) + 4 (Strength) + 1 (Weapon Focus): +6
Intimidate check: 1 rank + 3 class + 1 cha + 4 strength + 1 trait = +10
Feats:
1: Dazzling Display
Human: Intimidating Prowess
Fighter 1: Weapon Focus
Fighter 2: Bludgeoner
3: Enforcer
I'm thinking with the viking fighter I have enough intimidation... I'm going to focus on my offense or defense.
I think shattering defense will be my 6th level feat but 4, 5, and 7 are up in the air. I thought about shield focus but viking will be giving me +2 to shield AC, not sure if another point is worth the feat.
So what I could use is some advice on feats. I'm not to worried about damage (Power Attack is Meh for me with this specific build) so I'm looking at other options unless PA is a prerequisite for something. I don't have the intelligence for combat expertise so many maneuvers are out of the question. I don't know all the nice obscure feats of pathfinder so I think I'm missing something.
I may just hit 5 and 7 with iron will and greater iron will and call those two a day.
But any help would be appreciated :)
