Good evening!

I'm looking for help coming up with superlative prefixes which evoke a 'comic book' feel. My upcoming campaign will feature some timeline shenanigans, and I would like to these to describe the alternate (N)PCs that they meet. They can be over the top, but I really want the feel of an old school serial comic. Think 'Ultimate' or 'Unlimited' as opposed to 'Legendary' or 'Mythic'

Thanks in advance

Jenn

Well, stealing from some of Spidey's series...

Superior, Amazing, Spectacular, Sensational

And don't forget Incredible (e.g., The Incredible Hulk). And then X-Men has Uncanny and Astonishing.

EDIT: Side note of technicality--you're not looking for superlatives, you're looking for comparatives. Superlatives would be things like "best" or "largest" or "strongest".

Mighty, Mysterious, Masterful, Magnificent, Magical, Mesmerizing, Manly, Murderous, Maniacal, Mechanical, Mad... (You need villains too, right?)

Also: Excellent, Remarkable, Incredible, Amazing, Monstrous, Unearthly, Shift-X... er, skip that last one.

Alliteration is also a common theme. Crimson Crusader, Bronze Battler, Silent Shade, etc.

If you want to find some good comic book speak, dig up some of the later volumes of a comic called Empowered (not neccessarily safe for work)
The Caged Demon-Wolf narrates with absurd levels of alliteration.

As Joe the Rat mentioned, alliteration and/or assonance makes Marvel's mighty men much more memorable.

Irredeemable, as a hmoristic spin.
Incorruptible and Indestructible
Mark Waid who wrote books titled that way is pretty found of letter I, by the way.
