Alright so I have a party of 4 lvl 8s. Glass cannons for the most part. I'm making a small dungeon that is part of a larger complex. In it is a Bebilith, and the players are going to find dead demons, devils, and dwarves all wrapped up in webs. This is a 4 level underground tavern and is a transitions area from the 1st level of the mines to the 4th level of the mines. The rest of the mines contain a Demon/Devil army(homebrew campaign setting and I jammed demons and devils together for setting reasons). ANYWAY what I need are some mook spider type creatures for them to fight during the first 3 levels till they get to the Bebilith.

The minions can't be other demons or devils unless they are fellow arachnids. I was going to use fiendish large spiders but they would be nowhere near a challenge for the party, and not worth putting on the board. I plan on using a centipede swarm as a spider swarm, which should be fun but I want a larger mook i can plop down.

TL;DR I need mooks for a Bebilith boss that are spider themed.

Aranea (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/aranea.htm) are spider-like shapeshifters with innate Sorcerer spellcasting. They are normally CR 4, but you can add class levels to increase their challenge. Perhaps a group of aranea cultists has begun following the bebilith?

The drider (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/drider.htm) is normally associated with drow and Lolth, but you could say that somebody else has discovered how to make them, too. Maybe give them the fiendish template? Driders are CR 7 and have spells and spell-like abilities.

Ettercaps (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/ettercap.htm) are another aberration with some spider-like qualities. They use webs to set traps for unwary travelers. They are normally CR 3, but you can advance their hit dice to toughen them up (they become Large at 8 HD but you probably don't want to stop there). You could make these guys fiendish as well.

Phase spiders (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/phaseSpider.htm) are pretty cool creatures who use ambushes from the Ethereal Plane to take their prey by surprise. CR 5, but again, their hit dice can be advanced.
