[Romulus]

Romulus enters the room with Svala in his arms. He shuts the door and spins her around, kissing her passionately.

Svala giggles and melts her wings away, then pulls close to him and stares up into his eyes. I love you.

[Romulus]

Romulus stares back down into her eyes, smiling as she tells him she loves him. "I love you too." He lays back on the bed, pulling her down on top of him into a passionate kiss as the curtain falls around them.

Crystal, after waking up, stretches, gets dressed, and heads downstairs, bracing herself for the chaos.

Phoenix rouses in her sleep and sits up, being careful not to disturb the still sleeping eagle. Sitting on the edge of the bed she looks over her shoulder at Fenix before running her hands through her hair and hanging her head. Resting her arms against her legs she looks at her feet, rolling one ankle then the other. With a sigh she stands and is dressed. She pulls her hair back into it's pony tail and takes a last look at Fenix before vanishing.

Fenix stretches and moves to put his arms around Phoenix, only to blink and realize that there is a distinct lack of Phoenix in the bed.

One of the Eagle's eyes opens as it watches him.
"Good evening sir."

Good evening, I guess.
Fenix sighs.

"May I ask what is bothering you tonight sir?" Sirius stands up and opens both his eyes to look at Fenix.

Phoenix and I had a bit of an argument yesterday. It was my fault, really.
Fenix sits up.

[phoenixineohp]

Sirius tilts his head.
"And what are you thinking about it now?"

[AmberVael]

Just wondering how I am going to resolve it all- how I can make it up to her without... damn it, I just still don't want to have much to do with that woman.
Fenix rubs his temples, then glances at Sirius.
I don't mean Phoenix, I'm thinking of someone else.

Sirius tilts his head further.

"Aesa, yes. But what bothers you so deeply about her?"

[AmberVael]

Fenix scowls.
Do you know what I saw her and Phoenix doing?

[phoenixineohp]

Sirius straightens his head.
"Exactly what did you see?"

[AmberVael]

She and Phoenix... as soon as I returned I found them together. They were enjoying each other's company. Passionately. I would say they were kissing, but that is too light of a term for such a sensual act.
Fenix looks both angry and depressed.

[phoenixineohp]

"Before you arrived Phoenix proposed a deal to Aesa. A level of energy for a level of energy. Aesa took Phoenix's before you arrived. What you saw was Phoenix taking Aesa's. And it was not in a manor that is unusual..."
He tilts his head again.
"So if my lady has admitted to you that this upsetting situation was her idea, what is it about Aesa that bothers you so much?"

[AmberVael]

I don't think it was just that. There was more too it.
Fenix crosses his arms.
Its just... I honestly care for Phoenix. Maybe more than she cares for me, or more than she admits she cares for me, anyways. I am willing to forgive her, but not Aesa. I have never seen anything good from that woman, and I believe she was more behind that than Phoenix was, even if Phoenix did make the agreement.

[phoenixineohp]

Sirius chatters his beak for a second.

"My good sir, here we have the core issues. If I may be so bold as to suggest another possible cause for your dislike of her, I would think it would be because she represents a perceived threat. You do not know enough about her to make any sort of informed analysis, yet everything that you have heard about her should seem positive. If you love Phoenix so much, meeting a friend who she feels similar to should be a happy event."

He takes a moment and shifts his weight on his feet.

"And then we have my dear lady, who is dealing with those exact realizations. You know part of her nature, why is it so surprising and apparently vile to you when it comes up in another context? Why is it that you believe another would conspire towards a behavior that is perfectly normal for Phoenix? Though her relationship to that normalcy is a different argument best left for another time."

He chatters again briefly.

[AmberVael]

Fenix scowls again.
I know more about her than either of you most likely realize. That was not the first time I had met her, though I had nearly forgotten who she was until recently. She has never made a good impression on me.
He sighs.
As for Phoenix... I don't know. I guess I should have realized that I wasn't really enough for someone like her, and that she doesn't even feel the same way towards me as I do towards her.

Sirius sighs and his chest deflates a little.
"Ignoring your issues with Aesa, I should suggest to you that the manner in which you are viewing this is skewed."

He closes his eyes.

"As my lady has said, she is with you. She will not stray, aside from what her job requires of her, which you should not associate with things of that nature anyways. And I can tell you that she is content and without the need for anything additional. You need not worry yourself about that."

He tilts his head, his eyes still closed.

"As for her feelings for you, that is a most complicated matter. It is amazing how you are able to so freely express yourself..." He trails off.

[AmberVael]

Maybe its amazing to me how some people could be so confused.
Fenix sighs and lies back down.

[phoenixineohp]

Sirius shakes his head.

"My lady may experience many emotions, however I would not call her confused right now. It is a very different matter."

[AmberVael]

Whatever. I am really not in the best mood to be thinking serious things over, and thinking about serious things is not my strong point as it is.
Fenix sighs.
I think I'll just confine myself to this room from now on... it seemed to ward off the craziness of life in the Town.

[phoenixineohp]

Sirius sighs deeply.
"Well perhaps it would be best then if we continued this discussion on a later date. Though I would like to ask you to give these matters some thought."

He settles back down to sleep.
"Phoenix sure is."

((OoooOooh! Fenix is a hermit now! Hermits always give out the best quests. I'll have to send someone up to bother him.))

Fenix nods and goes to sleep.
((Fenix? Giving quests? Interesting idea... anyways, night))

mRell walks up the stairs, and opens the door to the closest room.

mRell walks inside and locks the door. He undresses, places his small money bag on the desk, and slips under the covers.

Romulus opens his eyes and leans over to gently kiss Svala on the cheek.

Svala's eyes snap open and she glares at Romulus.

[Romulus]

"Ok then. That day..." Romulus gets up and sits in the chair.

Where's my breakfast in bed? Svala raises an eyebrow at him.

[Blood]

"What would you like?"

Are you not smart enough to pick something good? Go downstairs. Svala waves a hand at him.

Romulus nods and heads downstairs.

As soon as Romulus is gone Svala giggles to herself and gets out of bed, then shapeshifts into a white cat and goes out the door, crouching next to room 2.

[Romulus]

Romulus comes back upstairs and starts to open the door to the room.

[AmberVael]

The cat sneaks up behind him and changes into Svala, who puts her arms around him and props her head on his shoulder, smiling.

[Romulus]

Romulus just about jumps, and calms a little when he realizes it's Svala.

"But...aren't you...?"

[AmberVael]

Hungry? Yes. Svala smiles innocently.

[Romulus]

Ramac gives a small sigh of relief. "So you glared at me...?"

[AmberVael]

Thank you for bringing the food. Svala ignores his question and kisses him on the cheek, then slips into the room past him.

[Romulus]

Romulus follows her in and sits back down in the chair.

[AmberVael]

Svala goes and sits in his lap, smiling at him.

[Romulus]

Romulus looks at her, confused, as he sets the tray of bamhacon, muffins, and velvet elfish on the table next to him.

Svala kisses him passionately and flutters her wings.

"I love you." Romulus smiles at her, though he's still confused.

I love you too. Svala turns her attention to the food.

Romulus tries to sneak a piece of the bamhacon from the tray.

Svala grabs for his hand and tries to hold it still, grinning.

Romulus' hand is held. "So what's with you today, beautiful?"

Svala tilts her head and eats the bamhacon from his hand. I'm just mad today.

[Romulus]

"Why's that?"

Because I'm so madly in love with you, I must be crazy. Svala finishes the bamhacon and hugs him.

[Romulus]

Romulus kisses her on the cheek. "I don't think you're crazy."

[AmberVael]

Maybe you're just too crazy to notice. Svala hums and hugs him again before turning back to the food and getting another bite of bamhacon.

Romulus reaches up and rubs Svala's shoulders, if she allows him.

[AmberVael]

Svala hums happily at Romulus's touch and continues eating at a leisurely pace.

[Romulus]

Romulus gives a smile and continues to rub her shoulders.

Svala finishes eating what she wants and leans back into his massaging, humming a little louder.

Romulus continues the massage. "Enjoying yourself?"

Svala nods, closing her eyes as she relaxes.

"I'm so madly in love with you..." Romulus kisses her cheek as he continues the massage.

Svala's humming increases in volume again, and she is clearly quite happy and content at the moment.

[Romulus]

Romulus slowly finishes the massage and wraps his arms around Svala's waist, and if her wings aren't in the way, he lays his head on her shoulder.

Svala turns and kisses him on the forehead, then leans back into his arms.

[Romulus]

"What am I going to do with you?" Romulus asks with a content sigh.

Hug me, and love me, and do anything I want you to? Svala beams at him.

"I can do that."

[AmberVael]

Good. Svala leans back into his arms and melts away her wings.

[Romulus]

Romulus kisses her cheek and smiles. "We're not going anywhere tonight, are we?"

Nope. Svala puts her head against his.

[Romulus]

"As long as I'm with you...then it doesn't matter."

Mmm. Svala leans her head back on his shoulder and smiles up at him.

[Romulus]

Romulus smiles back at her. He reaches up and gently strokes her cheek.

Svala softly kisses his neck as he strokes her cheek, tightening her arms around him.

[Romulus]

Romulus grins at her. "Trying to tell me something?"

[AmberVael]

Maybe. Svala shifts very close to him and gives him a slow, loving kiss.

[Romulus]

Romulus stands, taking Svala in his arms. He climbs up onto the bed and lays back, pulling her with him as the curtain drops down around him.

[Blood]

mRell gets up, dresses quickly, and grabs his bag of money. He disappears in a flash of darkness.

[Blood]

mRell reappears, in a flash of dark force energy. He is badly injured, but he seems feebly happy. He has two arrow injuries on his left arm, a badly bruised pair of legs, and four deep gashes across his right side. The shadowy magic begins to slowly heal the wounds, but it's not as fast as Rell's light magic would be. mRell grits his teeth in pain. That was fun. Totally worth it.

After a while of healing, mRell puts his bag of money back on the desk. He undresses and slips under the covers, quickly falling asleep.

[Chaotic Bob]

4 shadow elementals float up through the floor and begin to systematically search all of the rooms.

[Romulus]

The shadows are unable to check room #1.

[Blood]

mRell seems mildly surprised, a bit worried, when they enter his room. He then smiles, and uses his control over shadowy magic to try to manipulate the elementals. He tries to get them to return to their master and tell him that they did not find mRell in the upstairs of Trog's.

mRell, exhausted from all the exertion and the still-healing wounds, falls asleep.

((Gotta go.))

[NecroPaladin]

The shadows are unable to check room #1.

((Shadows implode outright if they witness true, purest love. It's a standard undead trait. Don't you read the rules? If they witness hanky-panky, they explode. God help you if it's both.))

[Chaotic Bob]

The elementals don't even try room #1, seeing as they hit #2 first. 2 of them shrug off the magic and float into the ceiling to watch him. The two that were affected instead disipate.

Ishmale walks upstairs and looks for an empty room. He notices that room #12 isn't being used so he goes to whoever rents the rooms and states that he is taking room #12. He then heads back downstairs.

A rather small shadow elemental pops in through the floor, it looks around for a bit then finds a small bag and drags it back down through the floor.

[Uberblah]

Ishmale walks up from the tavern and walks into his room. He closes the door, then he climbs onto the bed and falls asleep immediately.

[Blood]

mRell awakens. He puts on his worn clothes, silently vowing to find some new ones soon, grabs his bag of money, and disappears in a flash of dark magic.

If the shadow elementals move quick enough, they can meld themselves with the dark magic, since they are dark magic themselves, and follow mRell.

Sirius slowly wakes up with a nice stretch and yawn. He looks around and starts to preen.

[Chaotic Bob]

The shadow elementals, having been wrapped up in a dead time zone, were unable to meld with the dark energy, they float into the tavern below with a slight air of irritation about them.

Fenix wakes up and gets up, beginning to get dressed.

[phoenixineohp]

"Good afternoon sir. How are you feeling today?"

[AmberVael]

Somewhat better.
Fenix picks up his swords and hangs them from his belt.

[phoenixineohp]

"Wonderful. What are your plans for this evening?"

[AmberVael]

I'm going to go do some practicing with my swords. Maybe find the latest madness in Trog's.
He goes to the door and then realizes something. Fenix moves over to the bedside table and picks up an amulet.

[phoenixineohp]

"You two..." He chatters away in an apparently amused fashion.

[AmberVael]

What about us two?
Fenix puts on his amulet and raises an eyebrow at Sirius.

[phoenixineohp]

He opens his beak as if he is about to say something, but thinks otherwise.
Instead he closes his eyes for a moment and a swirl of magic, like a crystal ball appears between them. Inside they can see Phoenix in the center of a horde of undead. Apparently they are in a house that is quickly filling with bodies. They can see that she is working hard to slaughter the onset, gravely outnumbered but apparently doing well with her blade drawn and sheath in hand as she attacks and defends. Her dress is in rough shape, her hair falling out of it's ponytail but there is a smile on her face as she beheads another attacker.

Sirius seems to smile as he watches her.
"And she never takes off her necklace."

[AmberVael]

Fenix smiles a little.
I'll either be in the woods or in Trog's.
He goes out the door and downstairs.

Sirius shakes his head and the scene fades away into the air. He sighs and continues preening.

Ishmale wakes up and heads downstairs.

After being content that all his feathers are in the right place Sirius sits down and falls asleep, instantly ruffling himself back up again.

Fenix and Phoenix appear in their room. Fenix immediately falls on the bed, going to sleep quite quickly.

Phoenix stands next to the bed, her arms on her waist.
"Hey!"

Sirius wakes up.
"Ah, hello My Lady. If you excuse me I'll go to Phoenixineohp's."
Phoenix smiles at him and nods. He vanishes.

Fenix's voice is muffled and small.

"Is that how you are going to say goodnight to me?"

Phoenix stands there. Her mouth snaps shut. She flips her hood up and crosses her arms.

Fenix, having a face full of pillow, doesn't notice the ominous changes. He holds out an arm towards Phoenix.

Phoenix flicks her wrist and Fenix is flipped so he is now laying on his back.

Yes dear?
Fenix has been jolted awake enough to realize something is going on.

[phoenixineohp]

"This is not how I hope you are going to say goodnight to me. You don't even need sleep. Not that much. Hell, I'll give you some energy."

Fenix smiles lazily at her, and his eyelids flicker.
Okay.

[phoenixineohp]

"Okay what?"

[AmberVael]

I don't know.
Fenix gets slightly more awake as he thinks about it.

[phoenixineohp]

Phoenix sighs and sits down. On the floor.
"I'll wait."

[AmberVael]

Forget thinking. Come here. Fenix smiles at her.

Phoenix smiles and stands back up. She drops her hood and walks to the edge of the bed.
"Yes?"

[AmberVael]

Fenix reaches his arms out to her and tries to pull her into bed.

[phoenixineohp]

She falls willingly. "Getting better."

[AmberVael]

Fenix chuckles and kisses her.

She kisses him back.
"Warmer."

Seren comes upstairs and slips quietly into room #8. She glances at the bed and bypasses it completely, choosing instead to move directly out onto the balcony.

She sits, wrapping her arms tightly around her legs, tears streaming down her face and staring out at the night sky.

Fenix decides that the curtain can take over from this point. He's tired.

mRell appears in his room in a flash of darkness. He undresses and slips into bed, seemingly unhappy with something.

Romulus wakes up and lightly kisses Svala's cheek. He looks around and realizes there's no real way for him to get up without risking waking her. He reaches an arm around her, and twelve white roses appear on the nightstand beside her, in a lovely clear vase. Romulus smiles and curls back up with Svala, slowly falling back towards sleep.

Svala wakes up eventually and smiles over at the roses on the nightstand. She reaches out an arm and touches the petals of one, then pulls back her arm and wraps it around Romulus. She closes her eyes and sings softly.

Romulus' wings give a small twitch as he opens his eyes and smiles. "Hey beautiful."

"How are you?" Romulus smiles and kisses her back.

I'm doing very well. Svala hums and cuddles close to him, putting her wings around them.

Romulus gently strokes one of her wings. "I love you. And I hope you like the gift, even though it's a day late."

Svala kisses him and starts singing while her player runs off to class.

Romulus smiles as he listens. His player runs to work.

mRell awakens, and quickly dresses. He disappears in a flash of darkness.

Romulus smiles as he holds Svala in his arms, and softly hums to her.

Romulus kisses her back before breaking away to put some clothes on.

Romulus walks over and wraps Svala in his arms.

Sure. Svala holds onto him tightly.

Romulus smiles and they vanish.

Romulus carries Svala up the stairs and into the room. He gently lays her down on the bed and kneels beside her, giving her another kiss.

"I love you with all my heart." Romulus gently strokes one of her wings.

Svala shivers delightedly and reaches out a hand towards him.

Romulus smiles again as he strokes her wing again, this time with a lighter touch.

Svala leans towards him and kisses him.

Romulus kisses her back and grins. "May I help you?"

Svala pulls him towards her, smiling.

Romulus allows himself to be pulled closer, and smiles back at her.

Svala moves to the far side of the bed and tries to pull him up onto the bed with her.

Romulus gives a small laugh as he helps her and climbs into the bed beside her, giving her wings another stroke.

Svala shivers and pulls close to him.

Romulus grins at her. "Would you like something?"

Svala smiles at him, her eyes wide and a little pleading.

Romulus kisses her passionately, pulling her ontop of him, and the curtain falls around them.

Firolon comes upstairs and goes into his room, then begins meditating.

Romulus wakes up and pulls Svala closer, wrapping both arms around her and sighing happily.

Svala wakes up and smiles at Romulus. Lets do something today.

"We can for a bit." Romulus smiles back.

Then we need to get up. Svala looks pointedly at his arms which are trapping her.

Romulus grins. "Yes?"

Svala tries to escape his embrace, but she is not trying very hard.

Romulus laughs and kisses her, letting go with his arms and gently stroking her wings as he does.

Svala shivers and hesitates between getting up and staying next to Romulus.

Romulus smiles up at her.

You are making this hard on purpose, aren't you? Svala gives him a reproachful look.

"What ever are you talking about, lovely?"

Svala rolls her eyes and gives him a shove, trying to push him off the bed.

Romulus rolls off onto the floor, pulling the sheets with him.

Svala giggles and gets up, dressing herself.

Romulus gets up, wrapping the sheets around he waist. He walks over to Svala and kisses her on the cheek.

Svala smiles back at him and goes to the door. I'll be downstairs. She goes out and closes the door behind her, then moves downstairs.

Romulus spends a moment debating on wether he should just go down as is. He decides it's best to change so he does and heads downstairs.

Romulus and Svala appear upstairs and lay in each other's arms, taking a nap.

Seren comes in from the cold and heads downstairs.

Lykan smiles slightly, resting a hand on Mhina's abdomen

It's one of the things that happens... You'll be alright.

She smiles, kissing him.

Lykan smiles, kissing her back. His eyes flash blue for a moment.

Do you want to go downstairs? It seems that your family is down there...

Mhina bites her lip. I don't know...I'm not sure how mom and dad will take me obviously showing...I mean, something tells me it really didn't sink in when we told them...

[Lykan]

Lykan raises an eyebrow.

I find that hard to beleive... Considering our kids have been talking with them for a while now...

[Wukei]

Mhina laughs lightly. Oh...right. Well, the way Dad was acting...I really don't think he believes them when they say they're related.

Lykan smiles, kissing her

Well, I guess he'll have to get used to the idea that his grandchildren may not be a thing like him.

He shrugs

Though you never know, really.

Mhina smiles. I don't know...I see plenty of similarities...

Lykan grins.

I'm afraid I don't know your father as well as you do... Aside That he is quite lawful.

Lykan kisses Mhina

Not that I have a problem with that.

Mhina smiles. It seems that he's been straying...perhaps because of Mom's chaotic nature...

Fine women tend to have that effect on their mates... I used to be more chaotic, y'know.

He winks, and sits on the bed next to her

Mhina smiles, kissing him.

Mikhail walks in and clears his throat. He draws out a pair of glasses and puts them on. He yanks out a piece of paper and unrolls it.

Ahem...

In the name of Vask, the strongest of Balor, I Mikhail, son of Vask, have come to enact vengeance.

He tosses the paper away and shrugs. As a sidenote, I consider myself a friend of your fiance's mother, and I would like to apologize. But it's either you or me, friend, and I am evil.

He pulls out a glass vial and throws it at Lykan.

The vial smashes against Lykan, and he looks at Mikhail, annoyed.

What the hell-

That's when Lykan discovers he's shrinking... Or rather, growing back in age... His eyes widen as his arms and legs shorten, and his torso and head shrink to the point where it seems he's no more then a few months old...

Mhina looks up at Mikhail in horror. He bows, apologetically and sweeps from the room. Mhina scoops up Lykan and stands, following after the demon as quickly as she can.

Mhina returns after some time and places Lykan on the bed carefully.

Svala dresses and then kisses Romulus on the head, leaving a small note to tell him she has gone to Vera's wedding. She vanishes.

Lykan begins to cry again, his little red and blue eyes leaking tears.

Mhina picks him up again, sighing, and rocks him.

[Lykan]

Lykan slowly stops crying again. He looks up at Mhina and reaches out to her face with tiny hands.

[Wukei]

Mhina brings him up and kisses him on the cheek. Don't worry...Alex will fix this...

[Lykan]

Lykan laughs, playing with Mhina's hair as she leans over to kiss him

[Lykan]

Lykan makes some gurgling sounds, and begins crying again.

[Wukei]

Mhina sighs, rocking him again. I wish I knew how to fix this...

[Lykan]

Lykan continues crying, not making any notice that he understood Mhina

[Wukei]

She sighs and heads downstairs, holding him, hoping he's just hungry.

Svala appears and gets back in bed next to Romulus, sweeping the note to him aside.

Phoenix wakes and stretches. She mumbles something about her silly player and the fact that she has no time due to work so she keeps her in bed for days at a time. She keeps mumbling until she remembers that she like the fourth wall and doesn't want to make him too upset. She then rolls over, facing Fenix and steals the majority of the covers.

Phoenix giggles. She is a little sad that she can't cast 'create water' at this moment, but remembers why and starts to plot alternative methods to wake Fenix.

A muffin appears and starts bouncing on him.

Fenix opens an eye and wonders if he is still dreaming as he notices the muffin.

The muffin bounces more.

Phoenix smiles and rubs his shoulder through the fire.
The muffin struggles a bit in his hand before going still.

Fenix smiles lazily and slowly eats at the muffin.

"I'm not interested in the muffin."

Fenix eats the muffin leisurely, smiling at Phoenix.
Oh really now? I never would have guessed that.

The window shatters, and Namesake falls in, in full combat mode. ((See the "Streets" thread)) He wears a red hood now, and it produces a bright flame which reflects off his iron mask, giving him the appearance of a small sun on top of a priest's body. There is a bit of curiosity as to how he did that without help, let alone unintentionally.

"Blasted Necromancers! Why must they always chase me across the roofs with zombie ninjas...I mean, how common is a ninja anyway, let alone a dead one???"

He looks through his upside-down legs and registers whose room this is.

"Wha- of all on Heaven and Midgard...what are the odds??? Albiet it's nice to see you alive and well."

He doesn't seem to notice any hint of romance. Go figure; his mind probably can only define "Enemy" and "Potential Enemy."

He stands up and begins to calmly walk towards the door as though he didn't just erratically smash his second expensive building surface of the week and barge into a private moment of two people he accused of being heretics not two days ago.

"True, my apparent obsession for their fluffy centers and delicious flavors is well known, but in reality I use my love for muffins as a front, a facade for my real desire."

She playfully slides up to his shoulder.
"My real hunger is for," she giggles. "stud muffins." She gently bites his shoulder.

The noise catches her attention. "You have GOT to me kidding me. Is this what I get for bad puns?"
Phoenix stops and watches Namesake walk out of their room. Her jaw clenches.
"Remind me again why I didn't kill him?"

Fenix chuckles at her and then starts as Namesake bursts into the indestructable room. He glares at him.

"Can I balance that out now?" Her hands are gripping the sheets, her anger apparent.

Namesake leaves, oblivious to the obvious fact that he is a completely unwelcome participant. He absently wonders what they were doing in there that was so important but didn't require a heretic-hunting map. As the window stitches itself up, one can almost hear the intelligent paneling whispering "He didn't apologize to the wall either. She was really sad, too! Pompous undead ***hole."

And everything is as it should be. Well, as it was, not as it should be. That would require a bomb at the very least.

Fenix sits on the bed and hums loudly to himself. I'm not hearing anything... especially my girlfriend killing obnoxious undead who claim to be paladins...

Remember how I told you I was somewhat like a paladin? Well... I'm not supposed to uphold the law, but I am supposed to prevent the death of the innocent... he really hasn't done anything meriting death.

"So you aren't bound by those rules any more, because you aren't that type of paladin any more, because..." She trails off.

Fenix watches her, unmoving.

"Well I made an oath to myself to never be in another relationship, so I guess we are all into breaking those silly things aren't we." She does a fake smiles but she isn't going to be able to act through this one. She closes her eyes and flips onto her back, raising a hand to her head.
"Oh boy..."

Fenix looks at her, gives a small sigh and smiles. He takes her hand.
Talk to me, Phoenix.

The hand on her head clenches into a fist.
"What was the most important thing to you? Before you died."

How long before I died? The very moment before?
