Lykan sobs and continues to cling to Mhina

As if to proove his point, Lykan places Mhina's hand on a deep scar under his hair, quite easily hidden under the black mop

Mhina gasps and clings to him, resting her chin gently on his head. She bites her lip and speaks quietly, I'm sorry, Lykan...

[Lykan]

Llykan looks up, still weeping teers, but smiling slightly

Don't be... You didn't throw the rock.

[Wukei]

Mhina nods, I know...but no one should be hurt...

[Lykan]

Lykan rests his head on Mhina, still crying

Mhina? Why are you so nice to me? No one else is nice to me.

[Wukei]

Mhina smiles sadly. Other people have had other people be mean to them, so they think it's okay to be mean, too. I don't feel the same.

[Lykan]

Oh...

Lykan snuggles against Mhina, sighing, while whiping away tears on his sleeve

She smiles, kissing him on the forehead. You're very welcome.

But tell me...who was mean to you?

Lykan looks up at her, biting his lip

I don't remember... I think it was one of the knights in my group.

Mhina raises an eyebrow. No...I meant today...

[Lykan]

Lykan bites his lip, looking at the ground

She looks confused. Seth?

[Lykan]

Lykan takes a deep breath

Sea-theif lady said I was mean because I was near her.

[Landaro]

While Landaro is still looking out of the window, he spots a small dark point. The point is bobbing left are right, occasionally, but manly he is getting bigger.

After a few more seconds, Landaro can make out a small winged figure, that seems to head straight for his window. Another few moments later he is sure. The thing coming up to him is a small dragon. The smallest one he has ever seen .. or no, something about a dragon of just the same size comes to his mind, but then the thought is gone.

In the same instant, that Landaro realizes the nature of the creature before him, a small but very clear voice echoes in his head:

So I have found you, at last. My name is Shorodar. You are the dragon born that has finally arrived.

Getting up in wonder, Landoro shoves away the remains of his delicious meal and leans on the table.

How come you address me 'dragon born' I am an elf, no more!

You cannot deny your heritage!

Shorodar elegantly lands on the windowsill, stretches his leathery wings and then folds them on his back. His scales appear to flicker through all the colours of the rainbow and from head to tail he is just a little longer than Landaro's arm, his wing span maybe one and a half of this.

His tiny, intense eyes settle on a Landaro who is rather taken aback.

There is a struggle in you, ... and you've forgotten a lot, but the mark on your noble soul cannot be mistaken. Your mind was born of dragon, even if this body is not.

I ... I cannot understand you ... I don't no what all this is about ...

The voice in his head seems to smile ... and the dragon on the sill slightly shifts his head.

Tell me then! Where did you learn the language you are using right now. We are talking draconic, mental draconic. Haven't you noticed?

Landaro falls back into his seat, stunned by this revelation. The dragon hops down onto the table.

I think it is time for you to swallow all this. Get some fresh air and think about it. You know it is true and you have known it ever since you set foot into this world. I will wait here for your return ... go now.

Feeling compelled to do just that he slowly gets out of the chair and heads over to the door, moving as if dreamwalking.

Out on the corridor is senses are coming back and he heads down into the tavern ...

Mhina looks taken aback. Mom? I know she can be a bit callous...but she's never said anything like that to you that I recall...

[Lykan]

Lykan looks at the ground, looking a bit ashamed.

[Wukei]

She hugs him. Don't think it's your fault. I'm just a bit shocked, that's all...

[Lykan]

The lady said I shouldn't tattle.

[Wukei]

Mhina makes a face. What lady?

[Lykan]

The Lady Psyches. My mistress.

[Wukei]

She frowns. Well there are times when tattling is good.

[Lykan]

Lykan nods.

Okay.

He sighs, and leans into Mhina, closing his eyes

Why couldn't you be my mistress?

[Wukei]

She smiles, lightly, That's a hard one to explain, but the easiest explanation is that I don't believe anyone is another person's master or mistress.

[Lykan]

Lykan hugs Mhina again

I'd still rather have you as a mistress.

[Wukei]

She shakes her head. You don't know me as well as you think you do...grown ups have secrets...sometimes really bad ones...

[Lykan]

Lykan shakes his head

You're still nice to me... The Lady hits me with things.

[Blood]

mRell appears in his room, looking somewhat strained and very tired. His glowing red eyes seem to weaken a bit, and he slips into bed. An adamantium band is firmly clamped to his right wrist.

[Wukei]

Mhina smiles sadly. There's a lot of people nicer than that in the world.

[Lykan]

Like you.

Lykan snuggles up close against Mhina, sighing.

[Wukei]

She smiles and kisses him on the forehead. Yes, I suppose.

[Lykan]

Lykan smiles, hugging her tight

Mhina? Can I be part of your family?

[Wukei]

Mhina nods. Soon...

[Lykan]

Lykan raises an eyebrow

Huh?

[Wukei]

You can be in my family...but not right away.

[Lykan]

Lykan bites his lip

I don't understand...

Mhina runs a hand through her hair. Well...joining someone's family takes time...

mRell wakes up, quickly dresses, and disappears in a small flash of darkness.

[Lykan]

Lykan sighs.

But I want to be part of it now...

[Wukei]

Mhina smiles sadly and hugs him. I want that too...but it's not possible. Not yet.

[Lykan]

Lykan looks at her questioningly

But... Why?

[Wukei]

She shakes her head. I can't explain it...just trust me.

[Lykan]

Lykan hugs her

Okay, miss Mhina. I trust you.

He looks down at her belly

What are you going to name the baby, Mhina?

[Wukei]

She smiles. Falon Lin.

[Lykan]

Lykan's head lolls to one side

Why?

[Wukei]

Mhina bites her lip. Well, I really like the name Falon. And her father likes the name Lin.

[Lykan]

Lykan grins.

I like both of those names alot.

[Wukei]

She smiles. I'm glad.

[Lykan]

Lykan grins

What does her name mean? I know Lin means Woods... But Fallon isn't a Wolfen name...

[Wukei]

Mhina smiles. Technically the name means 'of a ruling family.'

[Lykan]

Lykan bites his lip

So her name would mean like "forest princess," or something? If you put those names together?

[Wukei]

She nods. I suppose so...

[Lykan]

Lykan smiles

I got something right!

He lays back on the floor and looks at the ceiling

Mister Psyches is always telling me I screw up... But I haven't screwed up once since I met you...

She smiles. Perhaps you didn't screw up with her, either.

[Lykan]

Lykan raises an eyebrow.

Huh?

[Wukei]

She shakes her head. Some people lie about you messing up just to be mean.

[Lykan]

Lykan frowns

But... That's...

He looks at the ground again

[puss in boots]

Kerra floats up the stairs on her chair of black smoke. She turns and calls to her cat to not wander to far. Then she takes a good look around.

[Wukei]

She raises an eyebrow. But that's what?

[Lykan]

Lykan frowns

Everyone does that...

Suddenly Kerra senses that Her kitten is getting into trouble. sighing she floats back down the stairs.

[Wukei]

Mhina frowns. Do you think I do that?

[Lykan]

Lykan shakes his head

No. You've never told me I've screwed up...

[Wukei]

Mhina nods. So if I don't do it, it's quite possible that someone else doesn't do it.

[Lykan]

Lykan nods

But the lord and lady... And some of the knights say I screw up alot too. Even when it's someone elses fault.

[Wukei]

She shakes her head. But that doesn't mean you should judge others by their actions. You're young, be careful not to make blanket judgements.

[Lykan]

Lykan looks at the ground

I'm sorry, Mhina. I didn't mean to generalize.

She smiles and hugs him. It's okay.

[Lykan]

Lykan snuggles up against Mhina

You're cold, Mhina... Are you alright?

She nods. I'm supposed to be cold...I'm a goddess of ice.

Lykan's eyes widen in wonder

She smiles. I'm glad you like the concept.

Phoenix jolts awake. She looks around and kisses Fenix before vanishing.

Lykan grins, hugging Mhina

My best friend is a goddess! I know an ice goddess, and she's my best friend!

Lykan snuggles Mhina again

No one will pick on me now, will they?

Mhina shakes her head. I'm not sure...but we can fight them, if they do.

Lykan hugs Mhina

Thank you Mhina. For everything.

She smiles. You're welcome.

I know I've said it before. But I mean it. You make me happy all the time.

Romulus kisses her again, before getting up and dressed. With a smile, he heads downstairs.

Romulus comes back upstairs with bamhacon and muffins. "I have food." he says with a smile as he re-enters the room.

Romulus smiles at her and sets the food down on the table.

Romulus gives a small laugh as he brings the food over to the bed, and sits down beside Svala.

Romulus smiles and watches her, running his hand through her hair "I love you."

Good. Svala inches a wing behind him and curls it to touch his shoulder.

Romulus closes his eyes as her wing touches his shoulder, and his smile widens, as he leans close to kiss her passionately.

Svala moves her wings to fold around him, kissing him back with equal passion.

Romulus holds her close to him, turning his head to lightly kiss one of her wings.

Svala giggles a little. I thought we were eating?

mRell sits on his bed, glaring down at his wristband. After a while, he pulls the covers back over himself and grudgingly heads back to sleep.

"Oh, well, I'm finished eating." Romulus smiles at her.

Svala smiles and pulls him all the down onto the bed as the curtain falls. Her player quickly runs to class.

Conrad walks upstairs and looks for an open room. He notes Ishmale's room and walks in. He sits on the bed.
I'm sure Ishmale won't mind if I use his room for the night. Maybe he'll even walk in and we'll get to talk.
The latter doesn't happen because Conrad falls asleep.

Phoenix appears inside her room and looks over at the still sleeping Fenix.
"I don't even think he knew I was gone..." She shakes her head a little and gets ready for bed, crawling in next to him.

After giving him a kiss she settles in to sleep.

Fenix sits up and then gets up and starts getting dressed.

"Hey, where are you going?" A sleepy Phoenix calls after him.

Out and about, up and around. I need to stretch my legs...

"Oh... okay. Just come back alright?" She smiles at him and rolls over slightly. "I was hoping to have another warm body in bed."

Fenix smiles back and leans over to kiss her. I'll be back soon.

She gives him a great kiss before letting go. She quietly watches him.

Fenix sighs as he pulls away and goes out the door, shutting it gently behind him. He goes downstairs and vows to come back very quickly.

Phoenix stares at the door for a while before she rolls over and clutches the blankets. She shakes her head and tries to sleep. She doesn't get to sleep really, tossing and turning, letting her wings out and back in. At one point she transforms into an elf with long brown hair and pale skin, but that doesn't last long as she changes back.

((If Fenix comes back she'll wrap around him and sleep well. Otherwise it's tossing and turning. But I'm off to bed, hoping to fare better than her. :P))

Fenix comes back upstairs a short while later and undresses, then gets back into bed, putting his arms around Phoenix. He smiles and kisses her on the cheek, then falls asleep with her.

I'm going exploring. I was drafted to guard a royal adventuring group!

She smiles sadly and sits up. Lykan...we need to talk...

Mhina sighs and looks away.

She shakes her head. Think what you want.

She looks back at him, her eyes glowing slightly as she narrows them. You wouldn't think it from your first statement.

Lykan shrinks away a bit

Mhina looks out the window again.

Mhina tenses and looks down at him, her eyes returned to normal. So many things have stopped the wedding from happening, already...

What's to stop us from getting married now? Let's find someone to wed us.

He hugs her again

Mhina looks at him in shock. Lykan...you're no more than 12 years old...not in looks, anyway. A lot of people wouldn't understand.

Lykan smiles

You're not anymore then 1 years old... But you can change form a bit, can't you?

He bites his lip

I remember saying you can change your form to a small degree... So Why can't you look twelve too? Then can we get married?

Mhina looks shocked at him remembering her true age. I...I don't know if I can change my age...I've never tried it...I'm a goddess of ice, gods don't change their age...

[Lykan]

Lykan grins

But you made yourself look like a desert elf once. Can't you try?

[Wukei]

She grimaces. I suppose...

Mhina sighs, hugging him.

Mhina looks down. She bites her lip and looks to him. I can't...I don't want to risk the baby...and at the rate you're aging it won't be too long before we can get married...

Lykan frowns, looking down

He bites his lip, looking at her belly

Wait, would that mean...

[Wukei]

She raises an eyebrow. What?

[Lykan]

He points at her belly

Fallon Lin... Is my daughter?

[Wukei]

She nods. Yes.

[Lykan]

Lykan grins and hugs her belly.

Conrad wakes up. He looks around to get his bearings. When he realizes where he is and why he's there, he heads downstairs.

Conrad comes back upstairs and enters room#12 again. He gets on the bed and lays down.
I can't believe I'm afraid to meet my own brother. I just can't help but think he won't like me or he won't believe me. I guess I'll have to refind him tomorrow then.
Conrad falls asleep immediately after thinking those thoughts.

[Lykan]

Lykan wakes up, and begins shadowboxing again.

[Wukei]

Mhina smiles, watching him.

[Lykan]

Lykan looks over, and stops

What?

[Wukei]

She shakes her head. Nothing.

[Lykan]

Lykan smiles and pounce-hugs Mhina

[Wukei]

Mhina returns the hug.

[Lykan]

Lykan looks up, smiling

How did I end up with someone like you?

[Wukei]

Mhina smiles. I don't know. I'm just lucky I guess.

[Lykan]

Guess I am, too.

He hugs her again

Are we going to do anything today?

[Wukei]

She shrugs. You can do whatever you like...

[Lykan]

He snuggles her

I like what we're doing now.

[Wukei]

She smiles, wrapping her arms around him. I do, too.

[Lykan]

Lykan smiles, turning to wolf form, and licks her cheek

[Wukei]

She smiles, shaking her head. Why do you like that form so much?

[Lykan]

Lykan bites his lip

I don't know... It just feels... Well... Fuzzy. And I don't get hurt so much in this form...

[Wukei]

She smiles. Whatever makes you comfortable.

[Lykan]

Lykan noses her cheek, smiling

Do you like me in this form?

[Wukei]

She smiles. I like you in any form.

[Lykan]

Lykan smiles, laying his head in her lap

Mhina? Did I bite you? I don't remember...

[Wukei]

She smiles. Yes and no. You weren't the first to bite me...

[Lykan]

Lykan raises an eyebrow

... I don't understand.

Mhina looks away. It's still a bit of a sore spot to speak of...

Lykan looks at the ground

I-... I don't think I would have bitten you if you didn't want it...

She shakes her head. You didn't.

She smiles. Don't worry...it was fixed...

Lykan sighs, resting his head in her lap

Did you want to be a werewolf, Mhina?

[Wukei]

Mhina bites her lip. I never actually decided at that point.

Lykan looks at the ground, frowning

She smiles. But I was offered the chance to change back, and I refused.

[Lykan]

Lykan looks up

Really? Someone offered to change you? Who?

[Wukei]

Mhina glances at him. You did.

[Lykan]

Lykan bites his lip

Oh... Why'd you turn down the offer?

[Wukei]

Mhina shrugs. It doesn't hurt to be a lycanthrope. Why should I change?

Lykan looks at the ground

I don't want people to hurt you.

[Wukei]

She smiles. No one has offered to.

[Lykan]

Lykan sighs

Lucky.

[Wukei]

She laughs, looking back out the window.

[Lykan]

Lykan looks up at her

Have you ever been to a full moon festival?

[Wukei]

She shakes her head. Not that I recall.

[Lykan]

Lykan smiles

I'll take you to the next one... They're fun. Lots of music and dancing and eating...

She smiles. I've seen something similar with your family...perhaps we should wait til you're full grown again...

How do I tell him most of his tribe was killed...

[Lykan]

Lykan nods

Okay. It's not near the full moon anyway.

He grins

What did you see that was similar?

[Wukei]

She smiles. Vilk threw something similar to an engagement party.

[Lykan]

Ooh! Did we get to do that "chase the marrying couple" thingamajig?

[Wukei]

She nods, smiling.

[Lykan]

Did we succeed?

[Wukei]

She nods. We found a cave. But from what you said, it's not hard to succeed.

Oh... Okay.

She smiles. Yes.

Lykan hugs Mhina

As long as you had fun... That's all that matters.

She shakes her head. The Town.
