View Full Version : Spiked Chain Weapon Smasher

So I'm currently playing a fighter who wields a spiked chain, and a curious idea just popped into my head. With the chain and improved disarm, I get a +6 to disarm. How feasible is it for me (at lvl 3 with strength 18) to disarm foes and then break their weapons. At this level, I'd imagine most of the weapons wouldn't be MW or magical, making it easier (i would assume) to break. Obviously I don't get an automatic attack on a successful disarm like I do with trip, so I'd have to wait until my next turn or have the barb in our group go for the smash before the enemy has a chance to pick it back up again.

Like I said, just a fun idea I had randomly, and a fun alternative to the trip/smash technique that I'm sure I'll get slightly bored of. Also, if successful, my DM won't see it coming and it'll piss him off for sure!
