Hello, Playground!
So, I will be playing a Cleric of Bane in a campaign within the next few days, and I recalled that Bane had no special holidays, except for when High Clerics spontaneously call them: this lead me to thinking about what defines a high cleric. I was thinking that the average priest would probably be Cleric 1, or an NPC class, but I am unsure what level would be appropriate to be considered a "high cleric". Also, how much religious knowledge would be spread about this individual? Would the high cleric be known throughout Faerun to other churches to the same deity?
Any input would be appreciated, thanks.
