What book is the Metamagic Rod of Persistance in?

To my knowledge, no, it does not exist.

Unfortunately it's not in the books, as far as I'm aware. However, the cost can be calculated, which some kind folks over at candlekeep (http://forum.candlekeep.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=17515) did. The link looks like it's broken, but there's probably another thread out there with the same information.
