Emons
Medium Humanoids
40ft base land speed
+2 str, -2 con
+2 on survival checks and +2 on hide checks in the wild
Darkvision out to 60ft
Automatic Languages: Common, Emmon Bonus Languages: Elven, Gnoll, Goblin, Orc, Sylvan
Favored Class: Ranger
Emons are capable hunters
Personality
Emons are stoic, serious, and find little value in recreation. Their society is rather utilitarian, however, they are usually accepting and accomodating to outsiders that don't mean them harm. Emons who live amoung other races away from their tribes usually adopt the culture of where they live. Most Emons prefer an ordered lifestyle and in general they are more commonly Lawful but that is not the rule.
Appearence
Covered in a short fur of green, brown, or tan, they are sometimes mistaken by the ignorant as being rakshasha. They have differences in appearance, in that they lack a long mane, and have more human-like features. Some think them as catfolk, but they are their own sort of creature. Others may mistake them for Gnolls, which would be equally incorrect, (and quite offensive to most Emons as their kind does not exactly like Gnolls all that much.) They have 'paws' for feet and both feline and lupine features. They are human-sized, and they are built rather lanky, their strength not distributed throughout their frame as well, making them stronger but not as tough as the average human.
Lands
Emons live in tropical jungles in small tribes. They have no large kingdoms and most of their 'cities' are small settlements led by the eldest member of the tribe. Some Emon tribes have a semi-nomadic lifestyle.
Relations
Emons find find halflings and gnomes extremely annoying. They question why dwarves need to spend so much time digging around mountains, but otherwise have no prejudices. Emon tribes living outside of their usual range of territory somtimes clash with Gnoll tribes.
Adulthood: 13 years, Middleage: 30 years, Old: 48 years, Venerable 75 years, Max Age: + 2d20
