Hello, playground!

I am piecing together a build, but am having issues with the opening levels. The goal is to fully run Swiftblade and Abjurant Champion for a Melee Gish. In order to do so, I need to figure out how to get into either one as my sixth level, preferably with a 9-level casting class used (currently looking at 17-ish BAB with CL16).

I can't quite figure out how to do it, though, every entry I try ends up on level seven as first PrC

A variant of duskblade???

You are asking for full caster AND full BAB.

Yeah. Duskblade 5 would get you into Abjurant Champion at 6th level.

EDIT: Though it's not a 9-level caster class.

Battle Sorcerer 4 with Versatile Spellcaster and a custom Runestaff (preferably via this trick (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=267805#4)) with Haste on it.

A Dragonwrought Kobold Loredrake Battle Sorcerer 4 also works, throw in Stalwart Sorcerer and Spellhoarding as well if desired. With the Greater Draconic Rite of Passage you can have 20th level spellcasting at level 20, with 18/20 or 19/20 BAB.

The standard Swiftblade build is Martial Wizard (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/classes/variantCharacterClasses.htm#wizard) 6/ Swiftblade 9/ Abjurant Champion 5, which gets 17/20 spellcasting and 17/20 BAB.

You can get lvl 9 spells via sublime chord - youll have to dip a level into bard though, but 3rd level spells via duskblade isn't hard to get. You will also be down 2 BAB for doing the single level dips in bard and sublime chord.

Fractional BAB would relieve that somewhat.
