Can someone explain how binding them works? For example, can I bind both sphinx claws and blood claws? As totemist

There is shaping a soulmeld, and then there is binding them, which are two different things. You shape a soulmeld to a chakra, which corresponds to a body slot. Each soulmeld has a list of chakras it can be shaped to. You can only have one soulmeld shaped on each chakra (though there's a feat that lets you have two). Sphinx Claws and Bloodtalons (what I assume you meant by "Blood Claws") are both hands-only, so no, you can't shape them both at once, unless you have the Double Chakra feat. You could, however, shape either one of those and also Kruthik Claws, by putting the Kruthik Claws meld on your shoulders. Shaping a soulmeld does not interfere in any way with magical items.

Additionally, once you get to a high enough level, you can also bind a soulmeld to a chakra. Your class will open up various chakra binds at various levels, or you can open them with a feat. Doing so will give you additional abilities, but it will also prevent you from benefiting from magic items worn in that slot (unless you have the Split Chakra feat, or the magic item is an incarnum focus item). Ordinarily, a soulmeld can only be bound to the same chakra it's shaped to. The Totemist's totem chakra works a little differently: You can't shape a soulmeld to the totem chakra, but any single totemist soulmeld you have shaped to some other chakra can be bound to the totem. The totem chakra does not correspond to any item slot, so a meld bound to your totem doesn't interfere with items. Usually, soulmelds bound to your totem chakra will give you a natural weapon of some sort.
