Imo the Master Specialist's (CM) Minor, Moderate, and Major School Esoterica class features are seriously unbalanced between the different schools of magic. What to do about it ?
Here are my opinions for them:
Minor
Abj great
Cnj rubbish (only useful for dedicated monster summoner; then this really helps, along with the Augment Summoning feat and the Rapid Summoning alternative class feature)
Div meh, too situational
Enc great
Evc rubbish, too situational, and it is poorly worded
Ill great
Nec rubbish (only useful for dedicated undead contollers)
Trn meh, too situational
Moderate
Abj ok
Cnj great
Div meh, too situational
Enc ok
Evc rubbish, too situational
Ill ok
Nec great
Trn ok
Major
Abj great
Cnj great (also for the dedicated monster summoner with Rapid Summoning, now he can summon monsters as a swift action)
Div meh, too situational
Enc great
Evc ok (great if you use a maximized Moonbow)
Ill meh, too situational (could be useful in a more social environment)
Nec rubbish (again only useful for dedicated undead controllers)
Trn utter rubbish

So, Abjuration and Enchantment have the best stuff, followed by Conjuration and Illusion.
Everything for Divination is too situational and the Necromancy stuff is only good for undead controllers.
Evocation and Transmutation are the worst, the Major School Esoterica of the latter is a bad joke.

So, opinions ? Any good ideas for better powers for i.e. Evocation and Transmutation ? Are some of the Esoterica too powerful (like i.e. Minor Esoterica for enchantment) ?
