Alright so today I was looking at the PrC Cancer Mage, and as long as it's not abusing Festering Anger, I think it could be a fun class to use.
My thought was to have a disease based Warlock (Sickening Blast and the like) along with the Eldritch Glaive blast shape. A fun thing you can do with Eldritch Glaive is you can Quicken SLA it to get another full attack routine in, since the invocation itself is a full round action SLA that gives you a full attack.
On top of this Quickened SLA, your Cancerous Companion at lvl 3 of Cancer Mage can use one of your SLA's on your turn while taking no action on your part. So a few times per day if you want to really burst a BBEG down, you can make 3 Full Attacks of Maximized Empowered Eldritch Blast. Near the end of the build whip some Hellfire Warlock in there as well.
What does the playground think? Do the class abilities work well enough together to merit playing this? Because the gimmick I posted above is basically a 1/day thing.
