You’ve been in the warp for two weeks now, the trip surprisingly uneventful. Any moment now you’d enter translation, appearing, with any luck, near footfall.

“Warp translation in ten minutes,” Cries out over the Ship address system, “Captain and senior crew to the bridge, all non-essential crew bunk down.”

Moments before translation the last of the senior crew reach the bridge, “Warp Translation in 5… 4… 3… 2… 1… Now.” The whole ship shudders and screaming metal can be heard, the ship holds together though and once more you re-appear into real-space.

The view screens show static for long minutes before finally clearing. Outside hanging in the centre of a Trinary system is a single jewel of a planet, perfect blue oceans, white clouds, A complete fluke of stellar chance… Definitely Not Footfall, In fact not a planet any of you recognise.

A sudden sound comes from the navigator, cut off in an instant as he falls to the floor.

You are Lost, your navigator has just fallen to the floor...

No-one has any idea where they are and off the top of your heads no-one can think of a system even remotely like this one.

Seeing the navigator slumped against the ground, Otagaur sprung into action. He wasn't well versed in the variety of stars or systems in the galaxy (Remedying that is exactly why he came along), nor was he well versed in warp travel or psykery. What he was skilled in however, was science, atleast to some degree. Physik kit in hand, Otagaur began to look the navigator over, pulling out a flashlight as he checked his pupils and propped the mon-keigh up onto his knee.

"Hello? Can you understand me? How many fingers am I holding up?"

He began to recite, as if it was a checklist, and as he did so he continued looking over the Navigators vital signs.

Intelligence Test (Chem-Use/Untrained Medicae?):[roll0]

Potential for a +20 due to Physik kit, depending on how Kasmkat sees it. Going to try and deduce what's wrong with the navigator physically.

-Zaali looks at the man curiously and then back to the planet- I call dibs on first kill!, oh and is he alright? should I go get my wakeup sword?

Lucius just sighed realizing they were lost. The chances of fun happening in some random system isn't as likely as he'd like, then again nobody knows what can happen. "Not if I get it first." Lucius smirked in reply to Zaali's comment about the kill. It wasn't the kill but the prospect of battle that made him smile. His right hand lingering towards his left as if making a gauntlet, mimicking where the power fist would be and bringing good memories with it.

Vernetta stands next to the control throne, in simple white robes with an Aquila necklace. In a mild deference to her position as a first officer, she does wear the insignia on her sleeve, and a naval hat.

She thinks the hat looks a bit silly on her.

"Oh! Um, is everything ok? Was this supposed to happen? Everyone stay calm."

She flounders a bit, then notices Otagur. "Be careful with the navigator please, they can be, um, very delicate."

Then she purses her lips at Zaali disapprovingly. "Zaali, we're supposed to respect all souls in the emperor's service. Even if they are disturbing mutant psykers."

She bites her lip, and looks to the Trader for leadership.

But I am respecting him, disrespecting him would be stringing him up and stripping his skin off till he wakes up, and then keep going.

"Oi! It be me dat get da firzt kill, me Ork, me made fer fightin' an' winnin'!"
Mekrashin bellowed.
"an' we arrrr not lozt, we jus' atta plaiss we ain't seen yet..."
Mekrashin does think it an odd coincidence that this is the second Weirdboy he has seen die piloting a ship though. Hm.....nope he couldn't think of any cause of death. Perhaps they didn't wear enough blue and thus got hit by the dakka of bad luck. That was probably it.

The navigator isn't dead, however he is completely catatonic, unconcious and is muttering softly under his breath - Hard (-30) awareness test to pick up what it is.

This is off base Int, until you get medicae trained you won't be able to use it on anyone thats not a dark eldar...

If you want to try and wake the navigator up thats a hard (-30) Chem use test, providing you have access to something that might work. (Stimm, Wideawake, Smelling salts)

With the transition back to realspace from the warp Alfredo nearly falls, his balance isn't what it used to be. "Emperor blasted and damned warp." He mutters under his breath. He then spots the fallen navigator and Trinary system and his face pales. "You lot, get that navigator up now." He then immediately moves to the captains side. "My lady, I would advise an immediate augur sweep of the surrounding region, followed by an extended sweep of this unknown system. Also I think we should keep these Xenos off of the bridge for the time being. The crew might start blaming them once they realize something is wrong." His tone is that of a friendly and fatherly adviser, until he starts mentioning the xenos, that's when his voice loses its warmth and gains a bit of steel.

"Well. I don't know about moving all the xenos, I've been preaching very hard to all the crew about the importance of acceptance and tolerance. But Zaali, you can't say things like that, claiming natural deaths as your own personal kills is impolite, especially when they're you're own comrades. You should take a quick break to go pray. Lucius could escort you to the little shrine just outside the helm."

Vernetta is sly like a fox.

Staring into the unreactive human before him, Otagaur began to shake him softly and whisper to him. His voice was low and controlled, yet held the slight hiss of a predatory snake.

"Dammit you Mon-keigh, don't die on me now, I need you to struggle......"

Awareness:[roll0] Cue the incoming natural 100.....

Anyway, I lack any of those things, as Physik kits are for physical wounds. Unless I could apply a non lethal dose of Liquid Agony to jar him awake.....

Adelaide yawns and stretches in her captains' chair, shaking off the little nap she had been taking. She blinks at the view of the beautiful bauble of a world and the writhing navigator.

"Huh," she says, after studying the scene for a moment, then began issuing orders. "Keep us on passive sensors, and put us on silent running. I want an assessment of our intental situation before we light ourselves up. Are we picking up any radio chatter in the system? Engineering, I need a damage report. Otagaur, don't hesitate to move him to the medicae deck if you need to, but return as quickly as you can. I want my command crew on hand."

She depresses the comm button for the astropathic choir chamber. "This is the Lord-Captain. Do not broadcast an SOS. Please send me a report on any local chatter to the bridge."

She leans back in her chair, the immediate orders given, and tries for a second to stifle a a grin before giving up. Smiling like the chesire cat, she asks the command crew, "So. Anyone heard of a world like this? Or did we just find us a pretty new plant to claim in His name?'

Leaning down close to hear what the navigator is whispering as you inject him with Liquid agony, trying to wake him up you catch a few words – “The stars are silent, so silent…” as he suddenly sits bolt upright and starts screaming, eyes locked on the view screen and body rigid.
You gain 1 pain token but need to make a hard (-30) toughness test or suffer 1 level of fatigue.

Otagaur does something over the navigator, causing him to sit bolt upright screaming as loud as he can non-stop, eyes locked upon the view screen, body rigid, eventually the screaming turns into whimpering and then silence, his gaze never leaving the viewscreen.

As the navigator slips into Silence, the reports start coming in from various sectors of the ship, reporting all is well, all systems nominal. Dominus Crastus, Master Helmsman, Steps up to Adelaide, speaking quietly and occasionally looking towards the navigator, “The ship is rigged for silent running captain, all non-essential systems are off and sensors are passive only, what are your orders?”

As Dominus is speaking the Choir master steps into the bridge looking terrible, there is blood all over him, his clothes are a wreck and just as Dominus finishes speaking he collapses, uttering only one sentence, “The Silence, So Loud, We are Deaf…”

A mild sigh emanates from the corner that Confidence stands in. She usually prefered to be out of the way when it came to this Rogue Tradey business. But, seeing as how two rather important people were screaming and passing out, she figured it might be a good idea to see what was going on in the warp. So, she quietly opened her mind.

Unfazed, Adelaide opens a comm line to the medicae deck. "Med teams to the bridge and choir chamber, please," she orders. "Swing us towards the world, wide approach. I want to know if there's a whisper of radio or spikes of thermal radiation, or any other signs of a technological civilization."

Otagaur stares into the back of the Mon-Keighs head as he screams and whimpers like a mad man. Slowly scanning his eyes over the Navigators body, Otagaur heeds the Lady Captain's orders and scoops the Mon-Keigh up in his arms. Holding him, he proceeds to slowly walk out of the room, his sight fixated on the abnormal reaction his injection had caused.

"Hmmm...... Interesting..... Tell me more about these stars Mon-Keigh....."

His clawed hands ran up the rigid mans face, scraping his head slightly to see if he could elicit a reaction, whilst probing at his various sensory organs with visual and audio feedback. He did manage however to grant the Lady Captain enough of his time to give her a response.

"I shall bring him to the Medicae Deck personally, and see to it that this mystery is laid to rest. Now, I wonder what......"

And with that, he had left the Bridge.

Also, I'd like to start working on my lab, what do I need to roll for that? I'll be putting it inside my Raider for safe keeping.

Lucius tactically ignoring Vernetta, looks to the captain. "Captain, what would you have me do?...there could be some kind of enemy in the choir doing this or...." Lucius' voice trailing off, he just shrugs his shoulders. He was completely lost in a situation like this.

Vernetta sighs. The hat doesn't really bring her the respect she thinks she's entitled to as the first mate.

"My personal suspicion is some kind of warpcraft. Daemons, chaos, or even stranger things. Our best option is prayer and faith as our shields while we find whatever's causing this and neutralize it."

"We've exited the warp, unless whatever caused this stowed away it's beyond all but the Emperor's reach." Alfredo suddenly pales as he considers the possibility of a stowaway daemon. "We should probably make sure nothing stowed away. Run a sensor scan and see if we can't get the Astropaths to search with their... abilities."

Vernetta brightens, as she always does with the chance to educate someone on a new pious teaching. "Ah, but it could be any number of things. For is it not written in the third trial of St. Angela that she encountered a daemon of infinite for, but she slayed it through her faith protecting it from it's endless misdirections. As a gellar field must be maintained as it is the only defense against the warp, so must the soul be replenished through prayer, as to not be tempted to the wiles which chaos has no end of."

"I prefer the cracking and buzzing of a powerfield covering a giant metal fist," Lucius began as sort of retort shrugging his shoulders and putting a crooked grin on his face, "either way, Captain, if you will" Lucius made a motion referring what action he should take.

"All reports have already come in with all systems nominal. But if its the recommendation of my First Officer I will have them sweep again for stow aways. As for the astropaths... we will just have to wait for the med-team report from their choice chambers." Adelaide says, drumming her fingers on the armrests of her command chair.

Lucius growls, not at his Captain but at his momentary uselessness. "Maybe securities team should be sent there, for caution" He muttered to himself as he began pacing, his impatient style of waiting.

Mekrashin looked at the trinary system with a planet inside of it. He found it odd.
"Ey, anywun fink dat plannit be a bit odd? Wit da sunz like dat.....dere be no night. an' do it even go in circles?"
Contrary to whatever you might believe, orbits are something orks can completely understand- they're just balls going around in a circle in space after all. as for gravity, orks understood it sort of like they understand rule through strength: the sun clearly is the da large ork or warboss, making the planets who are like snotlings and whatnot, go around them in circles, and he is wondering how three orky suns got one snotling-planet between them, and whether the snotling-planet is going around all three of them in a strange circle, or being held in place in the middle of them, as if tugged by all three ork-suns gravity-strength to remain in place.
