So I've been looking at the undead that can be created by different spells, and I'd like to know of the various undead that can be created, and how to do so, beyond those listed in (Greater) Create Undead and by giving them the Zombie or Skeleton templates via Animate Dead.
As a general guideline, I'm looking for more or less solid methods of undead creation that don't rely too much on DM approval (i.e. how Curst are created via bestow curse followed by miracle/wish), as opposed to less mechanically sound suggestions like adopting an orphan and letting it die in hopes of it becoming a slaymate that require a bit more sanctioning by the DM.
Got any fun undead for creating, Playground?
