In the realm of the planes, there are many interesting and varied creatures, many of whom owe allegiance to some cause or who call a particular plain their home... while others are travelers, or warriors sent to protect the faithful servants of powerful forces. From angels to demons and everything in between, the denizens of the planes move through the infinite layers of time and space to walk on planes that normally would be beyond their reach. Separate realities that they should not be able to reach but through the use of magic...

And to do so, the creatures build a bridge in the Void.

The Void is the plane in between planes, a passageway that many ever realize is there, but one that contains every plane and every possibility... as well as creatures of great power. Those that live within it or who owe allegiance to its three great powers are granted with traits of their home plane, giving them advantages over most other mortals.

The Void subtype
Requirements: The creature must be born within the Void or be blessed by a Great Power from the Void.
Creature type: The creature also gains the Extraplanar subype, and is vulnerable to banishment type effects. Their home plane is the Void.
Alignment: If a creature is Lawful or Chaotic when they gain this subtype, they lose this alignment and become the closest Neutral to what they were (NG, TN, NE).
Benefits:
-The creature has no chance of spell failure while standing on the Void*.
-The creature gains SR equal to 10+HD. If it already has SR or gains SR from a different source, add 2 to the value of the existing SR.
-If the creature has 3 or more HD, it benefits from the effects of invisibility at the beginning of each encounter, except the only things that may see through this effect are Truesight and Touchsight. Creatures with the Void subtype may see through this effect as well.
-If creature had 10 or more HD, it gains the ability to cast Plane Shift 1/week. If the creature is going to a plane that they have visited previously, then they have a 100% accuracy rating on any place they traveled to via their own power.

*Officially, there is no actual Void plane to stand on... I'm going to write this up when I get the chance.
