View Full Version : Guessing Bozzok is SPG's son

Bozzok says that he has friends on the WC and he kind of looks like (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0609.html) SPG (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0758.html) (panel 4 and panel 7 respectively). Plus, a lot of people on the WC are revealed to be related to other past characters, so Bozzok being SPG's son would be par for the course. What are the holes in this theory?

Im going to play the "theyre stick figures, how many completely unique faces do you think the style can support?" card?

I'll agree with Keltest and add that those friends were more likely other thieves or the people he's bribing to hold Ian.

Go fish. Do you have any, "this theory is so ridiculous that it's awesome" cards? I raise. GIN! Hit me!

I don't understand card games.

There are two flaws with this theory.

The first is that Miron and Kilkil (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0915.html) mentioned that their deal was with Bozzok of Greysky City, not Bozzok, SPG's son.

The second is that neither Geoff or Ian mentioned it either, and since they seem to know enough about the different workings of the Vector Legion, they would have noticed any family resemblance.

I'm pretty sure "friends on the western continent" referred to Geoff, Ivy, and Kilkil.

I thought Bozzok was a pure ork. Aside from that, I don't see even the slightest resemblance, except for they both have round heads.

EDIT: No, he's half-ork. Celia says so in 614.

It seems like this is this case, especially since those friends wrote him letters, and the people who wrote to him were revealed to be Geoff and Ivy. Of course, calling Geoff and Ivy "friends" was a bit of a stretch on Bozzok's part.

Well, Bozzok does have Bluff as a class skill:smallsmile:

So big that the Holey Brotherhood (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0276.html) is coming to claim it under custody.

Is anyone in the Holey Brotherhood related to SPG?

Is everyone related to SPG now? What about Recloak's niece?

So... Am I related to SPG? I guess I'm gonna ask him for a nation as heirloom.

Redcloak's niece is SPG's father, of course. Screw what the timeline says.

Clearly Sabrine is everyone's Mother, and SPG is their Grandpa!

Is the resemblance based upon what they're holding and wearing? Because that's a highly unreliable method to infer familial connections...

What if SPG is really a celestial and Haley's mother? Of course that would explain the intra group drama, given that his team mate is a spiked devil Spiky/Laurin. Now how does Trigak fit into this?!?

Trigak is Ian.

Pure logic. That's what this is.

But then who is Shinjo?

Absolutely.

But then who is Shinjo?
Shojo's younger brother, father of Belkar.

Most of us are not being serious (I hope).

I thought Durkon was Trigak?
Yes.

You forgot that Hinjo is not really Thog's brother but instead Hinjo is Belkar's uncle and Thog is Trigak's godfather. Still, Lirian is an aunt for all of them, including Durkon... except not for Hinjo because that would be silly!

I didn't forget that. I deliberately neglected to not take it into account to make sure you weren't watching while I did something you don't know about.

I thought Rich Burlew was Trigak:smalltongue:

What did you do? ...Did you secretly replace Luna_Mayflower with a doppelganger?

I thought Rich Burlew was Trigak:smalltongue:

When it comes down to it, turns out that we are all Trigak. And since we are all Trigak, that makes Trigak SPG's secret son with Dorukan and Lirian.

Now to figure out how that unnamed female companion of Banjo in strips #887 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0887.html) and #888 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0888.html) connects to all of this...

Trigak is the all and the none.

She is, of course, the mortal daughter of dread Banjulhu, sent to seduce him over to Banjulhu's side. And, of course, Trigak is her father.
